My cat Linda lived alone with us for two years until a few months ago when we adopted a mother cat and her kittens. The first is that Linda's coloring is very similar to a kitten we had a few years ago, and my mom loved him dearly. The second reason is that, when we adopted the other cats, the idea was to provide them with a safe home and save them from the streets so we could later put them up for adoption. But since no one showed up interested in adopting them, we decided to keep her.
