Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 April 2026
These Terms govern your use of Deegram (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Deegram is operated by Robin Amir Rondestvedt Moudnib, sole proprietor, Norway. Contact: support@deegram.com.
2. Accounts and Hive keys
- You must be at least 13 years old to register. You must be 18+ to enable or view NSFW content.
- Deegram accounts are tied to your Hive blockchain account. Your posting, active, and owner keys are controlled entirely by you. We do not store your private keys and cannot recover them for you. Loss of your keys means loss of access to your account and any funds held in it.
- You are responsible for keeping your keys and device secure, and for all activity under your account.
3. Your content
- You retain ownership of the content you publish.
- By posting through Deegram, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your content through the Service so we can operate the platform.
- Posts, comments, votes, and transfers are published to the public Hive blockchain. Blockchain records are permanent and cannot be deleted, by us or by anyone else. Publish only what you are comfortable leaving public forever.
4. Prohibited content and behaviour
You may not use the Service to post or distribute content that:
- is illegal under Norwegian or EU law;
- sexualises minors in any form, real or depicted;
- harasses, threatens, or incites violence against others;
- promotes self-harm or serious criminal activity;
- infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy;
- is spam, automated promotion, or aims to manipulate reward payouts;
- contains malware, phishing, or attempts to compromise the Service.
NSFW content is permitted only when marked as such and is hidden from users who have not enabled NSFW viewing (18+ only).
5. Moderation, blacklist, reports
We operate a blacklist and report system. We may hide or remove content from our Service, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Because content on Hive is permanent, our moderation hides it on Deegram but cannot erase it from the blockchain.
6. Wallet and transactions
- Deegram is not a financial institution, broker, exchange, or custodian. We provide an interface for broadcasting Hive transactions; your keys sign them on your device.
- Transfers are irreversible. If you send funds to the wrong account, lose your key, or are tricked into authorising a transaction, we cannot reverse it.
- Exchange rates shown in the Service are estimates pulled from public market data and may differ from rates available elsewhere.
7. Blockchain permanence
You understand and accept that anything you publish to Hive is public, permanent, and outside our control. You cannot exercise your GDPR right to erasure against the Hive blockchain. You can erase your Deegram account and the data we hold on our servers at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
8. Termination
- You may delete your Deegram account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to others or to the Service.
9. Availability and changes
We provide the Service on a best-effort basis. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes.
10. Disclaimers
Except as required by mandatory Norwegian consumer law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Hive nodes we rely on will be available.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law, Deegram is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, content, funds on the blockchain, or opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer-protection law.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be brought before Oslo tingrett (Oslo District Court) as the agreed legal venue, subject to any mandatory consumer-law rights you have to bring claims before your local court.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
