Mom's spoiled cat


Greetings to all cat lovers! My cat Linda lived alone with us for two years until a few months ago when we adopted a mother cat and her kittens. The three new members of the family have settled in well, but since Linda was our only cat at the time, she's still my mom's favorite.

Saludos a todos los amante de los gatos, mi gatita Linda estuvo sola por dos años en casa con nosotros hasta que hace unos meses atrás adoptamos una mamá con sus gatitos, los tres nuevos integrantes de la familia se han adaptado bien, pero como Linda era nuestra única gata en ese entonces sigue siendo la consentida de mi mamá.

  

I think this is mainly due to two reasons. The first is that Linda's coloring is very similar to a kitten we had a few years ago, and my mom loved him dearly. The second reason is that, when we adopted the other cats, the idea was to provide them with a safe home and save them from the streets so we could later put them up for adoption. But since no one showed up interested in adopting them, we decided to keep her. However, we haven't ruled out the possibility that if someone responsible comes along who wants one, we could give it to them if they meet the requirements of being a good adopter, as it's financially difficult for us to have four cats.

Yo creo que esto se debe principalmente a dos razones, la primera es porque el color de Linda se parece mucho a un gatito que tuvimos hace unos años atrás y mi mamá lo quería mucho, la segunda razón es que como al inicio cuando adoptamos los otros gatos la idea era brindarles un hogar seguro y salvarlos de la calle para poder después darlos en adopción, pero como no aparecía ninguna persona interesada en adoptarlos decidimos quedárnoslo, aunque aún no descartamos la idea que si llega alguien responsable que quiera alguno se lo podemos dar si cumple con los requisitos de ser un buen adoptante, pues a nivel económico es difícil tener cuatro gatos para nosotros.

 

That's why, even though my mom loves and cares for them very much, she's tried to maintain a bit of emotional distance in case we ever have to say goodbye to one of them. However, this might change with time. I think my mom needs more time to show her affection for the other cats the way she does with Linda. Nevertheless, we always joke that Linda is the favorite because she arrived first. Today I'm sharing some recent photos of Linda with you. She has such a diva-like attitude and always has a queenly look, and I love how she looks.

Por eso, aunque mi mamá los quiere y cuida mucho ha tratado de mantener un poco su distancia emocional por si algún día nos tenemos que despedir de alguno no obstante esto puede ir cambiando con el tiempo, creo que mi mamá necesita mas tiempo para demostrar su cario hacia los otros gatos como lo hace con Linda, sin embargo, siempre bromeamos diciendo que Linda es la consentida porque llegó primero. Hoy comparto unas fotos recientes de Linda con ustedes, es que ella tiene una actitud muy de diva y siempre tiene una mirada de reina y me encanta como luce.
