Yesterday morning I got to watch the stage and Sexias keep his lead in the race while I got my post up.

I headed up to my client's house again for a slew of tasks. She found the parts for the swing which I was able to finish better than she had ever had it put together before. The awning has toothed plastic parts for the angle but never had bolts installed to hold it to the the frame so it wouldn't spin against the metal. I found bolts and drilled out the holes to fit and now the awning is fixed in place and won't move of its own accord.

She got a new faucet for her sink so I pull the old one off but found the sink and faucet are a pair and the sink has non standard hole spacing and a huge cut out for the shitty faucet. I put the faucet back in the sink and she is getting a new sink that I will install on Monday with the new faucet. The old one has the forward facing spray bar that is totally asinine and is made for a bar not a kitchen.

Then I went to the lazy susan cabinet and removed the dumb thing. It is absurd how much wasted space there is with them and it limits the capacity greatly.

I pulled it out and now need to find hinges that will rotate about 140 degrees to mount the door for her.

Her cedar planters went together with t&g so was a quick task. I got the log table assembled for the deck then. I need to go haul off the branches today and cut up the logs and stack them to season for her.

I got home by 12:30 and quickly got ready and headed out on my ride. I had an hour before I had to be back so I headed north on the pavement then on my way back south rode gravel roads. My new tires did WONDERFUL and the ride was way better than the old tires. Grip was perfectly fine and I was moving faster than I expected. I headed down Perry and got my PR on the segment. Still 30 seconds of the top 10 for the segment but that gives me a goal to work towards.

I modified my heart rate zones so zone 2 is up to 135 instead of 126 and zone 3 to 153 instead of 144 which is a much better reflection of the way I feel in each. I am trying to be more aware of my body and the metrics help that immensely.
2 more added to the collection so I am up to 15 now. I have to take time at some point to pull them all apart.

I made it home in time to then head to the co-op pickup which went fast but then I stood and talked with Nancy for a good bit about Art and his progress.

We got to watch the Artemis live stream of splash down in the Pacific. Still don't get why they don't just heft the capsule onto the deck of the ship and get them out that way instead of dicking around in the water...

Boys made dinner then @stryeyz and I went up to Backroads for drinks date. Very nice it is just 2 miles away.

Watching the last stage of the race now as I still feel like shit from this head cold as it is waning and draining. Packet pickup for the jr Bloomsday today for the boys which is run tomorrow morning. While they are gone I will get a trainer ride done since it is raining today (only 38 miles to halfway to 1k), then when they are back I will hook up the trailer and the boys and I will go haul the branches back and I will finish bucking logs and stack them for seasoning. I got the Presta to Schrader adapters so now I can see the pressure in my tires better and get them up to the 70-80 psi I want.
