Wednesday walk from village Zheravna

My Wednesday walk today is from the Stara Planina village - Zheravna.

The village Zheravna is located in the middle part of the Eastern Stara Planina. It is extremely visited by tourists because walking along its small streets you can feel a unique combination of history and architecture.

The houses have been preserved in their authentic architecture. Most are cultural monuments. They are built mainly of wood and stone. They have beautiful wood carvings.

Every year the Folklore Costume Festival is held here, which is visited by thousands of people.

There were open shops selling all kinds of interesting items.

We saw interestingly decorated restaurants.
