For me, who has always enjoyed hiking, returning to nature is one of the best forms of healing. When I've been stuck in my job and the extraordinary hustle and bustle of the city for a long time, it feels like all my energy has been sucked out of me. This means it's time to find the right day for a short escape to get closer to nature.
My choice fell on a day of trekking in Sentul, Bogor, West Java.
It's no secret that Sentul has various waterfalls that can be visited by tourists who want to go trekking but don't want to get too tired or spend too much time. There are many open trip accounts on social media offering day trip packages in Sentul. I found one that I thought was reliable, and this was the day… the adventure with Titis began!
After meeting the guide from the open trip I booked, I was taken on a tour. The first destination was Leuwi Benjol. To get to Leuwi Benjol, I had to walk through rice fields and along a stream. Occasionally, I had to wade through water because the path was completely submerged.
The only downside was that it had rained heavily the night before, so the water was murky. If it hadn’t rained, the water would have been clearer and greener. But for me, it didn’t matter—as long as I could see the trees, rice fields, and hear the roar of the waterfall, it was incredibly enjoyable. Having such a beautiful natural world is something I should be grateful for.
You know, when I came here, it turned out to be school holiday season, so of course there were many visitors and we had to take turns to pass through the waterfall route, which wasn't very wide. We just needed to cooperate with other visitors and be a little patient to stay safe. After all, because it had just rained, the route was a bit slippery.

After crossing a narrow bridge, (by the way, I also took a photo of someone selling sticky rice with brown sugar sauce, or what I call gemblong gimbal. It looked very tempting, but my journey had just begun, so I held back for a moment. Haha) I finally arrived at the first waterfall.

I took many photos to share with you all. Who knows, when you read and see the photos in my post, some of you who are missing waterfalls might feel a little better. Who knows, maybe my travels can be a representation of those of you who are going through difficult times, whatever they may be. I hope they pass quickly and that you are entertained by my post.

I hope that nature will always be preserved and remain as beautiful as this. Because nature without humans is clearly fine, but what would happen if humans were without nature? Without trees that produce oxygen, how would humans survive without water? Without clean air? Humans would easily come to an end and be useless.
So, that's the end of my journey this time. Hey! But I still have one more waterfall I want to share. Please wait for the next part! Have a good rest and holiday. See you in Titis's next adventure story.

Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
