Encuentro de talentos || “"El talento un regalo" [Esp-Eng]

Como cada semana en Encuentro de Talentos, es grato estar participando en la iniciativa de @angelica7, la cual invita en esta oportunidad un tema muy interesante: "El talento un regalo". A lo largo de la vida, muchas personas muestran diferentes facetas de sí mismas; algunas nacen en un entorno privilegiado, mientras que otras se enfrentan a dificultades, pero creo que todo el mundo tiene su momento y su lugar para demostrar sus habilidades y su talento. Por eso creo que todos tenemos talentos, aunque algunas personas tengan más puntos fuertes que otras. El talento es un don con el que nacemos; es un don que nos permite encontrar formas más inteligentes de alcanzar nuestras metas.

Personalmente, pienso que tengo diversas habilidades, aunque en mis primeros años no mostré mucho interés por ellas. Además, durante ese tiempo carecí del apoyo necesario para desarrollarlas debido a diversos factores, como los recursos económicos, motivación y el tiempo. Ahora, ya de adulta, me ha costado mucho encontrar tiempo para mí misma, y siempre lo he pospuesto para más adelante, sin llegar nunca a llevar a cabo algunos. Por ejemplo, me encanta la decoración y tenía muchas ideas al respecto, porque siempre he tenido un don para esa forma de arte, pero me faltaba la disciplina para practicar, hacer cursos; otro factor muy importante es que me siento bloqueada mentalmente. Me pasa lo mismo con muchas otras actividades que me gusta hacer y sigo sin decidirme. Aunque ahora estoy más enfocada en la cocina y el baile.

En la vida, debemos estar preparados para cualquier cosa, porque a veces las circunstancias nos obligan a renunciar a cosas que amamos profundamente, pero debemos hacerlo porque es necesario y también porque es algo que tenemos que hacer para mejorar algún aspecto de nuestras vidas. No esperes a sentirte motivado o a tener un talento especial. Trabaja con tal intensidad y constancia que, al final, tu disciplina sea tan grande que la gente confunda tu esfuerzo con talento. Sé agradecido por tus habilidades y trabaja en ellas cada día. La perseverancia te llevará al éxito.

As we do every week on “Encuentro de Talentos,” it’s a pleasure to be participating in @angelica7’s initiative, which this time explores a very interesting topic: “Talent as a Gift.” Throughout life, many people reveal different facets of themselves; some are born into privileged circumstances, while others face hardships, but I believe that everyone has their moment and their place to demonstrate their skills and talent. That’s why I believe we all have talents, even though some people have more strengths than others.  Talent is a gift we’re born with; it’s a gift that allows us to find smarter ways to achieve our goals.

Personally, I think I have a variety of skills, although in my early years I didn’t show much interest in them. Furthermore, during that time I lacked the necessary support to develop them due to various factors, such as financial resources, motivation, and time. Now, as an adult, I’ve had a hard time finding time for myself, and I’ve always put things off until later, never actually getting around to doing some of them. For example, I love interior design and had many ideas about it;  because I’ve always had a knack for that art form, but I lacked the discipline to practice or take courses. Another very important factor is that I feel mentally blocked. The same thing happens with many other activities I enjoy, and  I still can’t make up my mind.  Although right now I’m more focused on cooking and dancing.

In life, we must be prepared for anything, because sometimes circumstances force us to give up things we love deeply, but we must do so because it is necessary and also because it is something we have to do to improve some aspect of our lives. Don’t wait until you feel motivated or have a special talent. Work with such intensity and consistency that, in the end, your discipline is so great that people mistake your effort for talent. Be grateful for your skills and work on them every day. Perseverance will lead you to success.
