So many of the time, the question about what truly pleases God have always rises among Christian in the present age. One of the things that I have come to discover is the fact that pleasing God is not only limited to what we say but also how we actually live our lives every day.
I have actually come to understand that God looks deep within our hearts. Most of the time, God is not moved by our outward appearance as many of us think he is.
The Bible says in 1 Samuel 16:7, “For the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
What really matters to God and which God wants to always check over and over again is our intentions, our thoughts and even our sincerity before God. This really matters to God.
Based on my little walk with God, I have come to discover that one of the major things that really pleases God greatly is our obedience. It is always easy to say that we love God but you see, true love is shown not only talked about. In John 14:15, Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Of course I can testify that obedience is not always easy but it is worth it. Whenever God is asking you to do something, even though it might not be easy but trust me at the long run, it is always worth it. Every little act of obedience from God that we obey, it later pays off.
Then lastly, I will like to talk about one of the things that pleases God which is faith. The Bible clearly tells us in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him. If we can live a life of faith and depending on God, it goes a long way to pleases God beyond what we can ever imagine of.
