When Crypto Advice Sounds Easy, But Real Life Is Messy

Crypto advice is easy to digest when you're not the one on the receiving end. Since I have been in crypto for many years now, the advice about it has always been one way all throughout, and, they always sound so clear and convincing; like "Buy The Dip, Zoom Out, and Hold Tight with diamond hands," and when you hear people dishing out these advice, it would seem like that is the only way to survive in the market.
But what it's like on the inside of it, is not as simple as all that. Real life is not composed of just the perfect crystal clear logic in crypto advice, and the instant you click on your portfolio and see it down, maybe, so many times down badly, it feels totally different, especially when the money involved is not just extra money you have lying around but the actual money that has value in your life.
Meanwhile, life carries on as usual, bills must be paid, responsibilities are ever present, and you cannot afford to put a pause in your needs just because the market is dipping, so the question in your mind is not of strategy when someone tells you to Buy The Dip but, "Where do I find that extra money from?"
Zoom Out seems logical in theory but it's so hard to execute when the current situation is in front of you and not in a good state, and when they say hold with Diamond Hands, you started wondering how long you can practically hold on your crypto when the pressure you are dealing with is not from the market but in real life.
I have had my fair share of this of this phenomenon, where you open up your portfolio to just check briefly, and end up being on it longer than intended not because you wanted to but because you are trying to understand what you are seeing, at the same time trying to relax and not make any wrong decisions that you will regret later on.
At that point, I tend to tell myself that that is how the market is works, and it could also change, but knowing that does not help at all, it still hurts as I am the one experiencing it.
This is where the actual gap is between advice and life; advice is always good and makes sense, but it doesn't carry your situation; it doesn't feel your pressure and responsibility.
These are words so easy to say because it is not your problem, but when theory meets reality, things change and you realize the advice is not always wrong but in some situations, the reality is not the same.
Sometimes it is not about waiting or being patient; it's about what you can afford to endure; and this is something that only you can decide for yourself; so I began analyzing the theory in the context of reality of my situation instead of relying on things that sound reasonable.
