A Lazy Day.
Is it just me or some other persons feel lazy on a busy day? Well today was a busy day for me but guess what? I woke up tired lol. Who wakes up tired? Me, on a supposedly busy day.
About My Day
After my morning prayers, I took a 10 minutes walk. On a good day i walk for at least 35 minutes. Trying to keep up with my fitness journey. After my walk, I grudgingly did my laundry, and that took almost an hour I guess. After laundry, I had Golden morn cereals for breakfast.

Afterwards, I had my bath and prepared for work. If you can remember, I am currently serving my country and the service I render is teaching; so yeah, that was the work I went to do today. I teach Civic Education and today’s topic was Political Apathy. It was an interactive class because an average Nigerian youth partakes in political apathy and the reason is usually the same; “our votes will not count”. In as much as my students are not in the voting age bracket yet, they already concluded that their vote won’t count and it saddens me because when I was their age i remember my siblings saying the same thing and I in turn said same thing. Years later, our votes still does not count. At the end of the day I left them with what I believe every Nigerian youth has at this point; Hope. I also let them know that if we always conclude our votes won’t count without making conscious efforts to make it count at least, we won’t make any change either. I believe this would do something to their mindset, at least a change in their thinking.
After school, I took a nap and afterwards, scrolled through my socials while listening to music. While on that, I remembered I had a task to do. My sister is getting married and I needed to contact some event vendors on her behalf. Thank God I remembered. I would have been in soup lol. Right after contacting the vendors as requested by my sister, I quickly made dinner and ate, had some rest while planning for tomorrow’s work. After a well deserved rest, I proceeded to write this.
At the end of the day, I feel much better, not tired like I was in the morning and I’m happy making my second post in the Hive community. Thank you for reading through, and please tell me how your day went in the comments if you can!
