When it comes to health care, we automatically tend to think about and associate it with food. It is very important to be mindful of the food we consume and strive, as much as possible, to have a balanced diet that provides the nutrients and vitamins we need for basic bodily functions, energy, and to carry out our daily activities and routines. At this point, prioritizing nutrition is vital for enjoying health and well-being. However, beyond food, there are other equally important aspects that contribute significantly and comprehensively to our health, including physical activity, walking, enjoying a stroll, and more. Although it may seem simple and insignificant, these small actions are a great help in breathing fresh air, oxygenating our bodies, reflecting, releasing tension, and other benefits that allow us to drain all the stress we accumulate daily. It is no secret that we live in a demanding and dynamic society where stress is increasingly prevalent, hence the urgent need to pause, meditate, reflect, and take care of our health.

**ESPAÑOL** Hola amigos de la comunidad @holos-lotus, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana en unión familiar, el mes de abril avanza rápido a mi parecer, terminó el asueto y los días van a pso veloz, me parece increíble que faltan menos de tres días para la primera quincena del mes, esta es mi entrada para la iniciativa de la amiga @damarysvibra [**¿Qué estoy haciendo por mi salud?|| What am I doing to stay healthy?**](https://peakd.com/hive-131951/@damarysvibra/que-estoy-haciendo-por-mi-saludoror-what-am-i-doing-to-stay-healthy), cuando del cuidado de la salud se trata automáticamente se tiende a pensar y asociarla con la alimentación. Es muy importante cuidar los alimentos que consumimos y tratar en la medida de lo posible que sea una alimentación balanceada que nos aporte los nutrientes y vitaminas que necesitamos para las funciones básicas del organismo, tener energía y cumplir con nuestras actividades y rutinas diarias, en este punto es vital priorizar la alimentación, para disfrutar de salud y bienestar, pero más allá de la alimentación existen otros aspectos, no menos importantes que contribuyen de manera integral y significativa a cuidar nuestra salud, entre ellos realizar actividades físicas, caminar, disfrutar un paseo y más, aunque parezca sencillo e irrelevante, estas pequeñas acciones son de gran ayuda para respirar aire puro, oxigenar, reflexionar, liberar tensiones, entre otras que nos permiten drenar todo el estrés que acumulamos diariamente; no es un secreto que vivimos en una sociedad demandante y dinámica donde el estrés se acentúa cada día, de allí la imperante necesidad de hacer una pausa, meditar, reflexionar y cuidar la salud.

Following the global health crisis and several events and situations that affected my health, I've taken my well-being and the food I eat very seriously. It hasn't been easy, but I'm making steady progress with small steps. Reducing my carbohydrate intake has been the biggest challenge, and I'm happy to look back and see how much I've accomplished. Exercise and physical activity aren't my strong suit, so I've opted for other activities that may not require as much energy, but I enjoy them and they're ideal for relaxing. These include walks on the beach, enjoying the outdoors, visiting a park, sitting on benches and admiring the beautiful scenery, and the wonderful gifts nature gives us, like birdsong, watching an animal jump in a tree, enjoying the sun's rays, and the beautiful environment that nature provides. I love spaces surrounded by nature; they are an oasis for relaxing and recharging. Visits to the countryside are my favorite, as they allow me to enjoy contact with nature and, most importantly, breathe fresh air. It's also the perfect opportunity to pause and disconnect from the urban hustle and bustle. Here, the pace of life is calmer, there's no rush, and it flows gradually in its own time, without needing to accelerate. Each event happens in its own time, reminding us that no matter how much we try to bring forward or delay certain situations, each one arrives at the appropriate moment.

Tras la crisis sanitaria que vivió el planeta y por varios eventos y situaciones que afectaron mi salud, he tomado muy en serio el cuidado de la misma y los alimentos que consumo, no ha sido fácil el camino , pero progresivamente voy avanzando con pequeños pasos, reducir el consumo de carbohidratos ha sido el mayor desafío, me alegra ver hacia atrás y observar cuanto he logrado; realizar ejercicios y actividades físicas no es mi fuerte por ello he optado por otras que tal vez no demanden tanta energía, pero las disfruto y son ideales para relajarme, entre ellas; caminatas en la playa, disfrutar espacios al aire libre, visitar un parque sentarme en los bancos y observar la belleza del paisaje, también los hermosos regalos que nos da la naturaleza como el canto de las aves, ver un animal saltar en el árbol, disfrutar los rayos solares y el hermoso entorno que el creador nos regala en la naturaleza. Me gustan los espacios rodeados de naturaleza, son un oasis para relajarme y renovar energía, las visitas al campo son mis favoritas, pues me permiten disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza y lo más importante respirar aire puro, además es la ocasión perfecta para hacer una pausa y desconectarme del dinamismo urbano, aquí el ritmo de vida es más calmado, no hay prisa y va fluyendo progresivamente en su tiempo, sin necesidad de acelerar, cada evento se da en su momento, recordando que por más que nos esforcemos por adelantar o atrasar determinadas situaciones, cada una de ellas llega en el momento correspondiente.

In response to my friend @damarysvibra's question, **What am I currently doing for my health?**, I'm focused on prioritizing activities that significantly contribute to my well-being. This includes taking care of my diet as much as possible, increasing the amount of time I spend walking and strolling, preferably in natural settings, and maintaining a sleep and rest schedule that allows me to get the necessary hours of sleep. Good sleep and rest greatly influence our performance during the day; I'm not so young anymore to be staying up late and getting up early with the same energy. Over the years, with the increasing responsibilities, fatigue and sleep deprivation take their toll. Therefore, I place great importance on getting enough sleep at night and, if time allows, taking breaks during the day. I've noticed that it greatly helps me recharge my energy and perform well in my daily tasks. I'm also committed to reducing my carbohydrate intake. This goal has been somewhat difficult because I enjoy sweets, but I'm aware and understand that excessive consumption can be harmful to my health. I hope to gradually make progress until I achieve it.

Respondiendo a la pregunta de la amiga @damarysvibra **¿Qué estoy haciendo actualmente por mi salud?** estoy enfocada en priorizar las actividades que contribuyan significativamente a mi bienestar, cuidando la alimentación en la medida de lo posible, incrementando las horas de caminatas y paseos preferiblemente en entornos naturales, mantener un ritmo de sueño y descanso que me permita cubrir las horas necesarias de sueño, ya que de un buen sueño y descanso depende en gran medida el rendimiento que podamos tener en el día; ya no estoy tan joven para trasnocharme y levantarme temprano con la misma energía. Con el paso de los años y las diferentes responsabilidades, el cansancio y la pérdida de sueño pasan factura, por ello le doy mucha importancia a las horas de sueño nocturno y si el tiempo lo permite un descanso durante el día, porque he notado que es de gran ayuda para recargar energía rendir en las tareas que realizo diariamente, también mantenerme firme en el objetivo de ir reduciendo el consumo de carbohidratos, esta meta ha sido un tanto difícil porque me gusta comer dulces, pero estoy consciente y he entendido que en exceso pueden ser dañinos para la salud, progresivamente espero ir avanzando hasta lograrlo.
