Hello internet people, how are you? Today, as always, I'm going to participate in this week's quiz to answer two interesting questions. I like these quizzes because they serve as a self-awareness exercise by putting us in the context of a hypothetical situation. >Hola gente de internet ¿Cómo están? Hoy me dispongo como siempre a participar en el cuestionario de esta semana, para responder dos preguntas interesantes. Me gustan estos cuestionario porque ellos sirven como un ejercicio de autoconocimientos al ponernos en contexto de una situación hipotética.

1️⃣ You are at a party, and someone is saying derogatory remarks (or negative things) about you. How would you deal with it, or what would you do?

>1️⃣Estás en una fiesta y alguien está diciendo comentarios despectivos (o cosas negativas) sobre ti. ¿Cómo lo afrontarías o qué harías?

I think if I were ever in that uncomfortable situation, I would face it not with shouting or a scene, but by finding the most diplomatic way to make them understand that I heard the conversation, that I'm not stupid, and that I know perfectly well what their intentions are. I would also make it clear that I'm not someone who creates chaos or enjoys conflict, that nobody is perfect in this life because we are all full of flaws, but also of virtues. It's just that I don't like going around highlighting my virtues so that everyone will try to accept me. My personality is authentic, and I don't intend to copy styles or patterns. And if that unfortunately doesn't fit their standards, then they (those who are talking about me) would be the ones who would have to step aside, but without spreading poison. Words should build up, not tear down.

Mi personalidad es autentica y no pretendo copiar ni estilos, ni patrones, y si eso lamentablemente no encaja con sus estándares, entonces serían ellos (quienes estén hablando de mi) los que tendrían que apartarse, pero sin destilar veneno, las palabras deben edificar, no destruir. I'm not a mother-in-law yet, and in fact, I don't even have children, but I think that if I were a mother-in-law, I wouldn't want to interfere in the lives of my children and their spouses. I might offer advice or suggestions to help them avoid certain mistakes, but I wouldn't try to impose any ideas. I would simply live by the principle that has always defined me: "Live and let live." I would never do anything I wouldn't want done to me. The person who married my hypothetical son or daughter should also be like a son or daughter to me, and one shouldn't criticize or bother their own family.
