In my experience tasting sweets from different countries, the ones from Germany really caught my eye visually speaking, which is why I picked out a few that I thought I might like and that also look cool, hehe. I have a favorite that we’re about to discover, but let me tell you about my expectations first. When I saw the colors, knowing that they’re all packed with sugar, my brain went into alarm mode because I thought, “I won’t be able to sleep until tomorrow.” The initial idea was to try a little bit of each one and see how I reacted to them, and that’s what I did. In fact, the spoiler is that it was way too sweet, and I fell asleep at 4 a.m. after trying them around 4 p.m. Oreo Waffle: these are wafer cookies filled with cream, but remember, it’s Oreo, so the flavor is basically Oreo—like eating an Oreo but with a crispy cookie and the signature white cream filling. It’s delicious, to be honest; I liked it, but it’s very sweet. I think eating a three-pack would be too much for me. Crunchy Waffle—this one reminded me of something I’ve tried before from another brand, except this one has a white chocolate filling and the regular one has hazelnuts. I thought it was delicious, but it also has a lot of sugar—so much so that I don’t think I could eat the whole thing in one sitting; it’s something I’d save for a few different times, haha. Duplo is pretty tasty—it’s a chocolate bar with a double wafer cookie, covered in chocolate and filled with chocolate. It’s also pretty sweet, but I don’t think it’s overly so. I can handle a whole bar of this chocolate; it had a unique flavor but was really delicious. In fact, I can say that there wasn’t a single one I thought was bad. Hazelnut—this one was a surprise because I had slightly higher expectations than it actually met. However, I did like it a little because, again, it feels too sugary. They’re filled chocolates; the filling looks like white chocolate and the coating is dark chocolate. In my opinion, there’s too much sugar for such a small chocolate. I don’t think I’ll finish eating all the chocolates this year, and I’ll give many of them away. Dubai Style Cookies: I was super excited about these cookies because I love the fact that they have a pistachio cream filling inside and a chocolate coating. They were tasty, though I expected a bit more from them; they didn’t disappoint me, but as I’ve said about all the others, the cookie feels too sweet—I don’t know what’s going on, but they go overboard with the sugar. Smurfs Cookies—and this was the one I was most looking forward to, because it’s amazing how a single cookie can have so many different ingredients all at once. First, the cookie itself is red; the filling is a blue cream; the coating is white chocolate; and on top, as a topping, there are little mini candies that, when they come into contact with your mouth, trigger a chemical reaction that makes them burst in your mouth. This has been my favorite, even though it’s a special Smurfs edition, and I don’t think there will be another one like it. I really liked it and enjoyed it; it was quite a treat. [SPANISH VERSION] Probando dulces Alemanes. En mi experiencia probando dulces de diferentes paises, los de Alemania me llamaron bastante la atención visualmente hablando, es por eso que escogí algunos que pensé que podrían ser de mi agrado y que tambien se ven chéveres, jeje. Tengo un favorito que ya vamos a conocer, pero déjame contarte acerca de mis expectativas primero, en si al ver los colores sabiendo que todos son mucha azúcar mi cerebro se alarmo porque dije aquí no duermo hasta el otro dia, la idea inicial era probar un poco de cada uno y tener una reacción sobre cada uno de ellos, y eso fue lo que hice, de hecho el spoiler es fue mucha azúcar y me dormí a las 4 am luego de haberlos probado a eso de las 4 de la tarde. Oreo waffer, son barquillos de galleta rellenos de crema, pero recuerda que es oreo así que el sabor es de oreo básicamente como comer una oreo pero con la galleta crujiente y con el respetivo relleno de su crema blanca, esta rica siendo sincera, me gusto, pero tiene mucho dulce, creo que comerme un paquete de tres seria mucho dulce para mi. Crunchy Wafflel, esta se me hizo conocida a alguna otra que haya probado antes de otra marca, a diferencia que tiene relleno de chocolate uno blanco y el normal con avellanas, me pareció que esta rica pero tambien lleva mucha azúcar, tanto que no creo que en una sola sentada me lo coma, seria algo para varias veces jaja. Duplo, bastante rico es un chocolate con galleta waffer doble, y con cubierta y relleno de chocolate, tambien es bastante dulce pero no me parece que sea en extremo, puedo soportar una dosis completa de este chocolate, que tenia una sabor diferente pero estaba muy rico, de hecho puedo decir que no hubo alguno que me pareciera muy malo. Hazelnut, con este me lleve una sorpresa, porque tenia expectativas un poco mas grandes de lo que realmente fue, sin embargo, me gusto un poco porque otra vez se siente demasiado azucarado, son bombones rellenos, pareciera de chocolate blanco y la cubierta es de chocolate oscuro, a mi parecer es demasiada azúcar para un bombón tan pequeño, creo que este año no terminare de comerme todos los bombones y muchos de ellos los regalare. Dubai Style Cookies, con estas galletas estuve super emocionada porque me emociona el hecho de que lleve en su interior un relleno de crema de pistacho, y con una cobertura de chocolate, si estaba rica aunque espere un poco mas de ella, no me decepciono, pero como he dicho de todos los anteriores, la galleta se siente demasiado dulce, no se que pasa que exageran con el azucar. Smurfs Cookies, y este era el mas esperado porque es curioso como una galleta puede llevar tantos ingredientes al tiempo, primero la galleta es de color rojo, el relleno es una crema azul, la cubierta es de chocolate blanco, y encima como topping tiene unos mini caramelitos que cuando entran en contacto con tu boca hacen alguna reacción química que hace que exploten en tu boca, esta ha sido mi favorita aunque es una edición especial de los pitufos y no creo que salga otra edición igual, me gusto mucho y e la disfrute, fue bastante dinámica. ---
