# **ENGLISH** --- # Hello everyone, good morning. As a true coffee lover, and in my constant search for new brands and flavors, I'm also passionate about creating blends by adding other ingredients to ground coffee. In this case, it's most common to use spices, although I've also experimented with chocolate, vanilla, and even unrefined cane sugar and honey. This time, I wanted to combine my old blend of cinnamon and cloves with new spices, and I chose aniseed, which is the small anise seed used in some desserts. The result was an aromatic coffee with the special touch of anise that made it stronger. After that result, I wanted to try what the coffee would taste like with my usual additives, but with a new ingredient: red fruit tea. It was crazy to imagine the combination of cherry, anise, and cinnamon, and I wasn't wrong; the smooth, sweet flavor doesn't even need any added sugar. The ingredients for my blend are: - One heaping tablespoon of sweet anise - One tablespoon of ground cinnamon - One tablespoon of cloves - One sachet of red fruit tea

All these ingredients are placed in a cup and stirred well. It can be stored in a small, sealed container and used on top of ground coffee when brewing. I add half a teaspoon to my daily coffee because the aroma is quite strong, and the idea is for it to give our coffee a subtle effect, not be overpowering and completely mask its flavor. Since coffee brands started appearing on the market with added flavorings or special additives, I've been creating my own, and each one is as delicious as the last. **ESPAÑOL** --- # Hola a todos, muy buenos días. Como buena amante del café, y en mí búsqueda constante de nuevas marcas y sabores, también me apasiona inventar mezclas integrándole al café en polvo, otros ingredientes. En este caso resulta más común que sean especias, aunque también he probado con chocolate, vainilla, y hasta papelón y miel. En esta ocasión, quise fusionar mi mezcla antigua de canela y clavos de olor, con nuevas especias, y escogí el anisillo o anís dulce, que viene siendo la semillita pequeña de anís que se usa en algunos postres. El resultado fue un café aromático con el toque especial del anís que lo hizo más fuerte. Después de ese resultado, quise ensayar cómo podía saber el café con mis aditivos de costumbre, pero uniendo un nuevo ingrediente, el té de frutos rojos. Fue una locura imaginar la mezcla de la cereza, el anís y la canela, y no me equivoqué, el sabor suave y dulzón no requiere ni siquiera de agregarle azúcar. Los ingredientes de mi mezcla son: - Una cucharada colmada de anís dulce - Una cucharada de canela en polvo - Una cucharada de clavos de olor - Un sobre de té de frutos rojos

Todos estos ingredientes se colocan en una taza, y se revuelven bien. Se puede guardar en un pequeño recipiente cerrado, y usarlos sobre el café en polvo al momento de prepararlo. Yo le coloco media cucharadita a mi preparación de café del día, porque el aroma es bastante fuerte y la idea es que le dé un efecto suave a nuestro café, más no que sea invasivo y le quite su sabor por completo. Desde que en el mercado comenzaron a llegar las marcas de café mezcladas con algún aroma o aditivo especial, me di a la tarea de crear los míos, y cada invento es tan rico como el otro.
