Clearing my daughters garden

After finishing my balcony project 2 days ago with the 2 new planting containers and some new succulents and some anual plants.

as you can see in the next two photos

My daughter asked me if i could help her out doing her garden, since i'm the one with what we call "green fingers" in the family.

So today we went over there in the early morning to clear the backyard. And after this one we will need to clear the front yard and then the rebuilding of it all will start.

Cherry blossems who doesn't like them in the spring .

But this tree had to go , people had planted the tree many years ago in the wrong place and never maintained it correctly, so we had to cut it .

And before you can cut a tree in this country you need a permit if the tree is aboce a certain size . And just like in most other counties when you need a permit you depend on local government and they can be slow.

Almost 2 years ago my daughters familly got this rental house and after renovating everything on the inside and a little bit outside , today was the day to cut down the oversized tree in the back yard before it would go over in a storm.

So here are the last Cherry blossem flowers of this tree.

1 ) some flowers on a new branch, comming out of the ground

3 ) Flowers from the very top of the tree after i cut them down, more dense flowering on the older branches .

4 ) new branches on the tree brfore we cut them down

5 ) I didn't messure it exactly but my guess is +/- 8 meters streight up in the sky in a spot only 2 meters from the house and 2 meters from the fence

6 ) A verry close look at the pollen and stamen

7 ) There were a lot of insects enjoying the flowers, even after we cut it down , and they probably will continue to do so for the next couple of days

And now back at home i feel a bit muscle pain since i'm no longer used to that kind of work and my age doesn't help either , but that will be gone in a day or two .
