Few years ago, when I went for a sudden trip, it comes out to be quite enjoyable. The trip was not planned one and made instantly while converting with my cousin. It was one of the instance when we went out ant plan, or whatever we made it was enroute to the destination. We faced many challenges in between but tackling them helps us to learn many different aspect of life. It was understandable that not every impulsive plan is fruitful. Making plans in ahead is important which gives us a good outcome.

There was an important lesson that we learned that day. While sometimes advantageous in situations requiring split.second reactions, consistent impulsivity often causes severe, lasting consequences in personal and professional life. We often makes plan to carry out the days work. From waking up in morning to going to bed at night planning out the various activities during the day always gives us a productive output. There were many tasks that an individual suppose to carry out during the day. From going to gym, to breakfast to office works to scheduling different meeting etc. Without planning all the activities may result in creating a mess. I believe nobody like to be in mess, rather everyone likes to have a smooth prices in life. And this is where planning helps an upper edge over the impulsiveness.

Impulsive individuals often fail to process information thoroughly before acting, ignoring potential dangers. Impulsiveness is a risk because it involves acting on immediate urges without considering long-term negative consequences, leading to dangerous decision making. It impairs the ability to plan, leading to reckless choices in financial or personal matters. Planning helps sacrifice short-term impulses for long-term rewards, leading to greater happiness and success, whereas impulsiveness often results in regret. To make an easy example from day to day life is our purchasing habits. Some individual are in habits of impulsive buying items. Even though they are not required by them for longer time. At the same time a mindful.purchase at correct time may bring good usage over the time.
Current status: Designing my life
Planning is a structured way to achieve success in life. It provides a clear roadmap (goal, direction, and milestones), which increases accountability and the likelihood of achieving objectives. By thinking ahead, we can research and capitalize on opportunities that impulsive actions might cause us to miss. Planning is generally considered superior to impulsiveness because it offers a strategic roadmap for achieving long term goals, minimizing errors, and reducing stress. While impulsiveness relies on fleeting emotions and luck, planning leverages foresight to analyze alternatives, manage resources, and prepare for potential setbacks.
To say that, studies have shown that suppressing planning and behaving more impulsively or spontaneously increases creativity. Acting on passion and sudden interest can feel more authentic and fulfilling than sticking to a rigid, pre set schedule. Making thoughtful, detailed plans for every minor decision can lead to mental fatigue. Sometimes, trusting your gut reduces mental effort and speeds up results. Ultimately it is upon our self care and well being to have a better plan and avoiding impulsiveness.
