Dear chess fans!

Mode: 3+2 (3 minutes per game, 2 sec. increment), 70 min. arena tournament

Rules
- All players are welcome, also newbies, you just need a free Lichess-account and join our team in Lichess here (password is "Hive")!
- Every Friday is one round.
- Time mode is varying (5+0, 3+2, 2+1,...), sometimes Swiss, sometimes Chess960 (=Fischer Random, Freestyle).
- The winner of each round gets the number of points equaling the number of players in that round, the second ranked one point less and so forth until the one on the bottom of the table who gets one point (i.e. the @lighteye/hive-chess-tournaments-scoring-and-reward-system-engsrp-sistem-bodovanja-i-nagradjivanja-na-shahovskim-hajv-turnirima" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lighteye-scoring). In order to be counted, at least 5 games must have been played.
- If two players have the same number of points, the one who played less rounds is first. If that is equal too, then eventually the last direct decisive encounter rules.
- PAYOUT: The tournament points of the 10 rounds are summed up. The top 3 of the Challengers are allowed to play in the Masters next season. The top 3 of both tournaments will get special prizes, the rest of the @badge646464/wallet" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">prize pool is divided according to the number of tournament points achieved (50%) and the number of rounds played (50%). In order to qualify for a prize you have to participate in at least five of the ten rounds!
- If I don´t know your Hive username, you won´t be considered for the standings and prizes, so please let me know your Hive name in the comments!

Sindarov has won the Candidates 2026 with 10 out of 14, as only player undefeated and one round to spare! This performance was only surpassed by Fischer's legendary run to world champion back in 1971.
Do you think Gukesh will have the slightest chance against him? I doubt it and believe this will be a one-sided fight lacking true excitement. What are your thoughts?
