Un curioso pájaro negro
El celular de mi mamá fue lo que llamó la atención de un pajarito negro. Yo estaba bebiendo agua muy cerca cuando de pronto observé algo extraño sobre el celular, era este pajarito que parecía muerto no sé movía así que despacio lo ví en otro ángulo.
Su reflejo se veía en la pantalla casi por completo, hechizado por su imagen se contemplaba dejando en segundo plano mi presencia, sé que estaba extasiado porque cerraba los ojos lentamente lo que me hizo pensar que estaba enfermo después me demostró que no era así.
A curious little black bird
It was my mother’s mobile phone that caught the attention of a little black bird. I was drinking water nearby when, suddenly, I noticed something strange on the phone: it was this little bird that looked dead; it wasn’t moving, so I gradually looked at it from another angle.
Its reflection was almost entirely visible on the screen; spellbound by its own image, it gazed at itself, leaving my presence in the background. I know it was entranced because it was slowly closing its eyes, which made me think it was ill, but then it proved me wrong.
Comencé a sacarle fotos lo más rápido que podía, no fue fácil la cámara no enfoca, ya que estaba muy cerca y si me movía podía irse, cuando sentí que ya había sacado suficientes fotos de ese lado de su perfil 🤣 me desplacé al otro lado girando de forma brusca su cabeza viéndome de una forma desafiante que me hizo reír.
Sé que ya lo estaba molestando, así que seguí sacando fotos de su otro perfil, algunas con la imagen de él nítida y el fondo en segundo plano borroso, probé con el fondo nítido donde se veían las hojas del árbol que se reflejaban en la pantalla del celular, pero salen feas y como el protagonista es el pájaro me enfoqué en él.
I started taking photos of it as quickly as I could; it wasn’t easy, the camera wouldn’t focus as I was very close, and if I moved, it might fly away. When I felt I’d taken enough photos of that side of its profile 🤣, I moved to the other side; it turned its head sharply and looked at me defiantly, which made me laugh.
I knew I was already bothering him, so I carried on taking photos of his other profile, some with a sharp image of him and a blurred background; I tried with a sharp background where the tree leaves were reflected on my mobile screen, but they came out badly and, as the bird is the star of the show, I focused on him.
Le di Zoom y capturé una foto en primer plano, es mi primera vez sacando fotos a aves tan cerca. Cuando sentí que era suficiente quise tocarlo y efectivamente salió volando hacia el patio rápidamente se elevó alto, pero de pronto se regresó y se posó sobre mi mamá, que si saber que tenía en su espalda comenzó a gritar que le sacará el bicho que se le pegó en la espalda 😆😁😂, le dije que era un pajarito, pero ella se movió y él se fue nuevamente.
Al parecer tenía un mensaje para ella, ya que estaba en su celular y luego se paró en su espalda por varios segundos.
I zoomed in and took a close-up shot; it’s the first time I’ve photographed birds so closely. When I felt I’d had enough, I tried to touch it and, sure enough, it flew off towards the courtyard; it quickly soared high into the air, but suddenly returned and landed on my mum, who, not realising what was on her back, started shouting for me to remove the bug that had stuck to her back 😆😁😂. I told her it was a little bird, but she moved and it flew off again.
It seemed to have a message for her, as she was on her mobile and then it landed on her back for several seconds.
¿Cuál es el nombre de esta ave?
No soy conocedora de aves, esta era pequeña y por eso creí que era un pichón, pero por su vuelo alto y veloz supe que era un ejemplar adulto. Con su imagen busque sus datos y se llama golondrinas, existen una gran variedad de esta especie, variando en color la golondrina común es la que me visitó que son de color negro en su exterior o espalda y por dentro o pecho sus plumas son blancas.
Son unos animales muy lindos, del tamaño de mi mano alrededor de unos 8 centímetros, se alimentan de insectos voladores, viajan grandes distancias y por lo general no superan la altura de la copa de los árboles, para esta época fin del verano e inicio del invierno se pueden ver en manadas que se paran a descansar en las líneas de alta tensión de los postes de electricidad y no sé cómo no les pasa nada, no me pregunten por eso por favor 🤣.
What is the name of this bird?
I’m no expert on birds; this one was small, so I thought it was a chick, but from its high, swift flight I knew it was an adult. I looked up information using a picture of it and found out it’s called a swallow; there’s a wide variety of this species, which varies in colour. The common swallow is the one that visited me; it is black on the outside or on its back, and on the inside or on its breast, its feathers are white.
They are very pretty creatures, about the size of my hand, some 8 centimetres long; they feed on flying insects, travel great distances and, generally speaking, do not fly higher than the treetops. At this time of year, in late summer and early winter, you can see them in flocks perching to rest on the high-voltage wires of electricity pylons, and I don’t know how they manage to stay unharmed – please don’t ask me about that 🤣.
Se dice que las golondrinas son portadoras de buena noticias, traen felicidad, prosperidad y salud, amén que así sea. 😁 con esto me despido, espero que te haya gustado mi experiencia.
