Hello friends and hello community, we return to capturing reflections and this time I arrive early to the round. But not to break the habit, I start at the beginning, which is to wish you a nice week and my hope that the previous days have been nice and productive, which is the most important thing. And if you're reading me and you're not participating in the community, well, what are you waiting for? Share with us that unexpected reflection you found, that bouncing light that filtered near you. A big greeting and let's begin: new week, new reflection.

The photograph I share with you today is the reflection of the crystal stone of a ring that belonged to my sister. I found the ring while tidying up some things, and as soon as I saw it, I was struck by how polished the surface was and the colors and reflections it showed when light approached it. But now that I think about it, perhaps "reflection" is not the exact word. Because what I saw was not light bouncing off the surface like in a mirror, but something more beautiful: the light entered the stone, decomposed inside into colors, bounced off its internal walls, and then shot out in those orange and blue sparkles that I liked so much. Physicists call it refraction and dispersion, and they say that colorful shine is called a gem's fire. I like to think it was light playing at getting lost inside the crystal for a second before escaping. I liked so many sparkles so much. I placed it on a piece of cardboard, put a flashlight next to it, and simply took the photo. This is the result I share with you today. Sometimes we are surrounded by objects with reflections, or with inner fire, interesting ones, and we overlook them.
Me gustaron mucho tantos destellos.
