I’ve been a busy little bee.

Like… really busy.

Behind the scenes I’ve been cooking up a batch of upgrades that turned out way bigger than I expected. What started as “a few tweaks” turned into a full-on transformation.

This one’s a bit wild.

We’re rolling it out on Android first (gotta test the honey before serving it 🍯), and once everything feels smooth, iOS will follow right behind.

Now… I could hit you with a wall of tech jargon…

🚀 What’s New on Snapie

🎙️ OpenPods (Hangouts) Are Here!

You can now jump into live audio rooms inside Snapie.

Think:

• Poice rooms for a Podcasts
• Chill conversations
• Spontaneous debates
• Late-night rambling with internet strangers

But better… because it’s ours.

You can:

• Create your own room (by clicking on the mic icon 🎙️ next to search)
• Join others instantly
• Chat while talking 🗨️
• Raise your hand to speak ✋ (civilized bees only 🐝)
• Even record the session 🔴 and turn it into a Snap

And here’s the fun part…

👉 When you create a room, it automatically gets announced to the community as a Snap!

No shouting into the void. Snapie’s got your back.

💰 Your Wallet… Finally Makes Sense

I fixed something that lowkey bothered me for a while.

You can now actually see what’s happening with your wallet.

• Who sent you funds
• What you sent out
• Rewards, power-ups, power-downs
• Clean timestamps like “2h ago”

No more guessing or opening other apps. No more “wait… where did that go?”

It just works.

🖼️ Images That Don’t Feel Like 2009

This one’s simple… but huge.

You can now:

• 👉 Swipe through images like a normal human being

• Tap a photo → opens full screen

• Swipe left/right through all images

• See your position (like 2 / 5)

It feels like social media should feel.

Finally.

🔐 Active Keys… But Make It Safe

Alright, this one matters.

You can now securely add your Active Key with:

• Biometric protection (FaceID / fingerprint / PIN)
• Proper validation
• Clear “Full Access” vs “Posting Only” indicators

Translation:

• 👉 More power when you need it
• 👉 Safety when you don’t

No weird compromises.

👥 Multiple Accounts (About Time)

If you’re juggling accounts… I got you.

You can now:

• Add multiple accounts
• Switch between them easily
• Remove them if needed

No log-out, log-in circus anymore.

Just tap → switch → done.

🧠 Posts Actually Render Properly Now

This one is subtle… until you notice it.

• Hashtags are clickable (hsnap's tags looked broken)
• Markup Profile links work
• Images render correctly (through a proxy, shoutout to louis88 for this safety bug)
• Videos, tweets, embeds… all behave right

Basically:

• 👉 Things look the way they were meant to look

• 🐛 And Yeah… I Squashed a Ton of Bugs

Not the fun kind of bugs. (can't think of a single fun one right now either)

The annoying ones.

Login weirdness → fixed Android quirks → handled Random crashes → hunted down

Snapie went full exterminator this week.

• 150+ commits
• 10+ major updates
• 6 big new features
• Dozens of fixes

Not saying I turned into a heartless machine…

I’m not slowing down.
