A Night to Remember Soaking Up the Best Views at Tops in Busay Hills, Lahug with Our Loved Ones

When we went to Cebu with all my relatives we decided to visit Tops one evening. The drive up was already fun. The roads are winding and a bit steep but that’s part of the adventure. As we went higher the city started looking smaller and smaller. The air got cooler and fresher and you could really feel the difference from down below. By the time we got there the sun was already setting and the sky looked so pretty with dark clouds and the moon starting to show.

 

When we stepped out of the car wow. The place looked so nice and modern. The buildings and walkways are curved and look really cool especially with all the lights on. It did not feel like just a simple viewpoint it felt like a nice spot to just hang out. The ground has these big hexagonal tiles with grass in between which makes walking around really nice and easy on the eyes.

 

But let’s be real the main reason we went was for the view and it did not disappoint. From up there, you can see the whole of Cebu City. All the lights below looked like stars scattered on the ground. It was so bright and beautiful and you could see how big the city really is. We just stood there for a while looking down and saying wooww ☺️ every few seconds.

 

We walked around the different levels and areas together. There are stairs and ramps that take you to different spots so you get to see the view from different angles. The design is really open so no matter where you stand you get a good look. It’s not crowded in a bad way there’s enough space for everyone to move around and find their own little spot.

 

The whole place just feels so relaxing. The lights are warm and not too bright the music in the background is nice and everyone there seems to be having a good time. You see families couples and groups of friends just chilling and taking pictures. The wind was blowing gently and it felt so good especially after being in the heat of the city all day.

 

Of course we took so many pictures together! The lighting is perfect for photos whether it’s of the view or just group selfies. Every corner looks Instagram worthy. We tried to capture how pretty the city lights looked but honestly seeing it with your own eyes is way better than any photo. We just kept snapping away because we did not want to forget how nice it looked.

 

We found a nice spot near the rail and just stayed there for a long time. We talked laughed and just enjoyed the moment with everyone. It’s nice to just step away from the busy life and have some quiet time with good company. We even saw the moon really bright up in the sky which made the whole scene even more magical.

 

Eventually we had to go home, but we were all so happy we went. The trip was simple but really enjoyable. Tops is definitely one of those places you can go to whenever you want to relax and see something beautiful. We left with ful hearts and already talking about when we can come back again.
