Tiredness and the movement of the bus caused me to fall asleep in a sudden unplanned nap. It was around 6 pm. I woke up and realized that I had fallen asleep. I looked out the window to see if we had reached the center but I didn't recognize the street we were going on. The houses were totally new to me. ,
I got up startled and was scared when I noticed that there were no passengers on the bus, it was just the driver and I and he was driving to "who knows where."
I walked up to his position behind the wheel and asked him forcefully, "Where are you taking me?"
The man jumped and shouted in fear, "Oh, where are you coming from, ma'am!" and he almost collided with a car coming in the opposite direction because when he shouted and turned to see me, he involuntarily moved the steering wheel and drove into the opposite channel. The other car avoided him, he maneuvered and returned to his channel.
There came the explanations: it turns out that the bus had had an accident and the passengers had to be transferred to another unit. He was on his way to the company terminal to do the checkup the next day.
I got off there, after he gave me directions on how to get to the center. We both got a tremendous scare from a sudden unplanned nap!

Las siestas son reparadoras y necesarias y muy buenas cuando son planificadas. A veces no es así, y entonces pueden sorprendernos en forma arbitraria en el lugar y el momento equivocado.
Una vez me ocurrió que abordé el bus para ir al centro a comprar para completar lo que haría para la cena.
Estaba muy cansada ya que la noche anterior había trabajado hasta tarde y ese día había tenido qué madrugar. Cuando subí al bus el mismo estaba lleno. Quedaba un solo puesto vacío al fondo del mismo y junto a una ventana. Me senté allí. Era un bus con los rrsldos de los asientos muy altos y como soy de muy baja estatura - mido menos de metro y medio, exactamente un metro y cuarenta y dos centímetros - el respaldo del asiento de adelante me impedía al frente y yo quedaba totalmente oculta tras él.
El cansancio y el movimiento del bus hicieron que me quedara dormida en una siesta repentina no planificada. Eran alrededor de las 6 de la tarde. desperté y me dí cuenta que me había quedado dormida miré por la ventanilla a ver si ya habíamos llegado al centro pero no reconocí la calle por dónde íbamos. Las casas eran totalmente nuevas para mí. , Me levanté sobresaltada y me asusté cuando noté que en el autobús no había pasajero alguno, estábamos solo el chófer y yo y él conducía hacia "quién sabe dónde"
Me adelanté hasta su puesto tras el volante y le pregunté con fuerza "¿Para dónde me lleva?"
El hombre pegó un respingo y gritó asustado "¡Ay, de dónde sale usted, señora!" y estuvo a punto de chocar con un auto que venía en sentido contrario porque cuando gritó y volteó a verme, involuntariamente movió el volante y se metió en el canal opuesto. El otro auto lo esquivó, él maniobró y volvió a su canal.
Allí vinieron las explicaciones: resulta que se le había accidentado el bus y tuvo qué transbordar a los pasajeros a otra unidad. Iba en camino al terminal de la compañía para hacerle la revisión al día siguiente.
Me bajé allí, después que me diera las indicaciones de cómo llegar al centro ¡Tremendo susto nos dimos los dos por una siesta repentina no planificada!
