Eggcelerating Survival Match

Hello there! **@saydie** here, playing **Splinterlands** everyday!

In less than 2 days, the Splinterlands Eggstravangza event will come to an end, and all the skins and avatar outfits that players can purchase on the Glint Shop will no longer be available for purchase. Same with the skins that players can only acquire through Ultimate Chests. So if you are planning to purchase them, better buy them now because there is only a little time remaining before they are forever gone.
But those were not the only things that were going away. The seasonal modifier will also no longer be available when the next season starts. Thankfully, before it leaves, it has shown me a pretty eggcelerating match, which I want to share in this post.

An Eggcelerating Match From The Seasonal Ruleset
As much as I complain about my experience when playing Survival Mode, playing the mode can be really fun and interesting, with how you can play against cards from older sets, and experiment with synergies by combining cards from modern and older sets. You can do that as well in Wild Format, but that game mode is mostly being botted, so most of the lineup that was played there is more for efficiency and finding the most optimal team that can win battles most of the time. Unlike in Survival, where you need to be more flexible with your team creation, as you continue to lose your cards, whether you lose or win your battles, especially if you were playing in an Active Bracket.
Anyway, before I reveal the main battle, first let me share about the active modifiers of the battle.
Battlefield Rulesets:
In the battle that I'm about to show, there was a mana cap of 54, which is just right for mid-high mana cards to be in use, while for the active elements, only the Dragon element was unusable in the match, giving both teams a wide selection of teams.

As for the modifiers, there were 2 active rulesets in this match.

What Doesn't Kill You is a ruleset that gives the Enrage ability to all units. With this ability, cards that receive damage will get an increase in speed and melee attack.

On the other hand, Eggceletation is the seasonal ruleset that comes with the Eggstravaganza season, which increases all the stats of all units by +1 at the end of each round.
And now, let us proceed with the main battle.
Main Battle

As you can see, I've come to use my usual modern meta lineup, starting with Commander Slade as my main tank that can evade both melee and range attacks, followed by Jicarilla the Rime to give it the Phase Ward ability so that it can also evade magic attacks, and a few more cards to increase the speed of my team, so is the chance of my tank to evade attacks.
Ironically, the liquidity bot got a similar idea, that is, to use a tank that can evade magic, and with its archon that gives it the Dodge ability, it can also now have a higher chance to evade all types of attacks, as well as being supported, which increases the speed of its team.

At the end of round 1, I ended up with lesser damage, as my team only lost some armor, while the opponent not only lost some of its armor, but also had its tank receive damage, which is a good start, but that also means that it got Enrage, so its speed will get an increase, then its stats will further increase due to the effect of the Eggceleration.

Going to round 3, you can see that both tanks have now received damage along with the ruleset, which resulted in both their damage and speed to go ballistics. This exchange keeps repeating in the following rounds, without any of the cards getting taken down, until we reach round 21, which is the fatigue rounds. As you can see, the stats and damage of the cards have now reached 2 digits, which is insane.

But at this point, it seems that I am now at a disadvantage, given that I already lost Jicarilla the Rime in my team.

At round 23, my defeat seems to be now more likely to happen, given that I also now lost Commander Slade and Grimbardum Smith, while the opponent team still has 5 of its team members remaining. My only edge against them is that they were all range units that will lose the ability to attack when they get into the first position. Meanwhile, I still have two magic units.

The battle continued until round 27, by which my team was able to do a complete 360 of the battle and won, all thanks to Yaba's Pickle that continues to hit them with strong magic attack and at the end of the battle has a total of 29 magic damage.

Closing
And that was it for this eggcelerating battle, which I got from playing Survival. The match has ended up taking 4 of my most used cards in cooldown, but I am very satisfied watching the battle unfold until its end, and know that I won the match.
Thank you, and see you on the next post!
