Señor veníamos a pedir un aumento de sueldo...

Inspirado en la impotencia de los trabajadores me di a la tarea de crear este dibujo. En el cuento, gusanos trabajan la tierra día y noche con apenas comida suficiente para seguir trabajando. Es un círculo vicioso que los mantiene sin poder hacerse de los medios de producción. Suficiente tiempo para prepararse, para adquirir nuevas habilidades, porque tienen que trabajar para comer. El patrón nunca aparece en escena, pero se puede percibir que no es mucho más grande que uno de ellos y sin embargo es el que los gobierna.

Inspired by the workers' powerlessness, I set about creating this drawing. In the story, worms work the land day and night with barely enough food to keep them going. It's a vicious cycle that keeps them from acquiring the means of production. They have enough time to prepare themselves, to acquire new skills, because they have to work to eat. The boss never appears on the scene, but you can sense that he's not much bigger than one of them, and yet he's the one who governs them.
