Creo que estoy en mi era de stickers caseros 🤭 porque quedé fascinada con los primeros que hice de BT21 y quiero hacer muchos más, aunque es un trabajo tedioso porque hago los dibujos yo misma, lo que por su puesto me lleva más tiempo del normal, la verdad es que a pesar de todo los disfruto mucho y quedó muy conforme con el resultado.
I think I'm going through a phase of making my own stickers 🤭 because I was so fascinated by the first ones I made of BT21 that I want to make lots more. Even though it's tedious work—since I draw the designs myself, which of course takes me longer than usual—the truth is that, despite everything, I really enjoy it and I'm very happy with the results.
En esta ocasión hice unos lindos stickers de pochaco para regalarselos a una amiga que es muy especial para mí, ella siempre tiene lindos detalles conmigo y yo nunca he podido regalarle nada por falta de presupuesto, así que se me ocurrió la idea de hacerle stickers de pochaco ya que es su personaje favorito. 🥰
This time, I made some cute Pochaco stickers to give to a friend who means the world to me. She’s always so thoughtful toward me, and I’ve never been able to give her anything because I couldn’t afford it, so I came up with the idea of making her some Pochaco stickers since that’s her favorite character. 🥰
La verdad me tarde bastante en hacerlos, casi un mes, porque al ser para regalarlos quería que quedarán super bien hechos, cuando hago manualidades para mí o solo para practicar se me hace muy fácil, pero cuando las hago para regalar me presionó mucho a qué quede perfecto, así que evito trabajar en ello cuando no me siento 100% bien de salud o cuando estoy baja de energía.
To be honest, it took me quite a while to make them—almost a month—because since they were gifts, I wanted them to turn out really well. When I make crafts for myself or just to practice, it comes easily to me, but when I make them as gifts, I feel a lot of pressure to get them perfect, so I avoid working on them when I’m not feeling 100% healthy or when I’m low on energy.
No soy experta en packaging, pero no quería entregarlos sueltos, así que me las ingenie lo mejor que pude y con lo que tenía en casa para hacer un sobre muy lindo, creo que de eso se trata este post, de hacer un lindo regalo artesanal sin gastar, pero con todo el amor del mundo para las personas especiales de nuestra vida 🥰 y ya sín más preámbulo los invito a ver la lista de materiales y el paso a paso de estos lindos stickers.
I'm no expert at packaging, but I didn't want to give them away loose, so I did the best I could with what I had at home to make a really cute envelope. I think that’s what this post is all about: making a beautiful handmade gift without spending a dime, but with all the love in the world for the special people in our lives 🥰. And without further ado, I invite you to check out the list of materials and the step-by-step guide for these cute stickers.
- Hoja blanca.
- Lápiz. ✏️
- Bolígrafo. 🖋️
- Lápices de colores.🌈
- Tijera.✂️
- Cinta adhesiva.
- Papel encerado (yo uso el que trae el papel contact para proteger la capa de adhesivo)
- Bolsita de plástico.
- Cartulina escarchada.
- Tijeras decorativas.
- Bolígrafos de gel color neón.
- White sheet of paper.
- Pencil. ✏️
- Ballpoint pen. 🖋️
- Colored pencils. 🌈
- Scissors. ✂️
- Masking tape.
- Wax paper (I use the kind that comes with contact paper to protect the adhesive layer)
- Small plastic bag.
- Glitter cardstock.
- Decorative scissors.
- Neon gel pens.
Lo primero que hice por supuesto fue dibujar, como comenté en la introducción lo que hace está manualidad un poco tediosa es tener que hacer yo misma los dibujos, pero no está mal porque eso me ha ayudado mucho más con mis prácticas de dibujo y aunque sean dibujos sencillos la verdad es que me han ayudado a salir de mi zona de confort porque siempre dibujo lo mismo y como siempre me falta soltar más la mano.
The first thing I did, of course, was draw. As I mentioned in the introduction, what makes this craft a bit tedious is having to draw the pictures myself, but it’s not so bad because it’s really helped me improve my drawing skills. Even though they’re simple drawings, they’ve actually helped me step out of my comfort zone—I always draw the same things, and I still need to loosen up my hand a bit more.
Lo siguiente fue darles color con lápices de colores, quiero hacerlos con marcadores, pero como aún no tengo no me limitó, pero la verdad me gustaría hacer unos con marcadores, pero ya será más adelante. No hay mucho que decir en esta parte porque la verdad el coloreado fue bastante plano sin ninguna técnica en particular, fue básicamente cólorear y hacer la línea final con el bolígrafo roler, también decidí hacerle las orejas nariz y ojos con el bolígrafo en vez de usar un lápiz de color negro porque siento que con el bolígrafo queda mucho mejor.
Next, I colored them in with colored pencils. I want to try using markers, but since I don’t have any yet, that didn’t stop me. To be honest, I’d really like to try using markers, but that’ll have to wait for later. There isn’t much to say about this part because, honestly, the coloring was pretty basic—I didn’t use any particular technique. I basically just colored them in and went over the final lines with a rollerball pen. I also decided to draw the ears, nose, and eyes with the pen instead of using a black pencil because I feel like it looks much better with the pen.
El siguiente paso fue recortarlos, quedaron muy ondulados cuando los recorte, recuerdo que igual me quedaron los anteriores y eso me dificulto mucho a la hora de hacer los stickers, así que está vez los metí en un libro con peso para que quedarán planos.
The next step was to cut them out; they ended up very wavy when I cut them. I remember that the previous ones turned out the same way, and that made it really hard for me to make the stickers, so this time I placed them in a heavy book to flatten them out.
Ahora sí, viene la parte de hacer los stickers, para eso puse una capa de cinta adhesiva en en papel encerado, que ya saben lo recicló del papel contact, pero en esta ocasión quise intentar algo diferente, la vez pasada puse todos los stickers a lo largo del papel y pues se me dificultó un poco al ponerle la segunda capa de adhesivo por encima, así que está vez corte el papel en cuadrados para hacer el proceso de manera individual.
Now it’s time to make the stickers. To do that, I applied a layer of adhesive tape to some wax paper—which, as you know, I recycled from contact paper—but this time I wanted to try something different. Last time, I placed all the stickers along the length of the paper, and it was a bit tricky to apply the second layer of adhesive on top, so this time I cut the paper into squares to work on them individually.
Entonces lo que hice fue tomar cada dibujo por separado y colocarlo sobre un trozo de papel encerado y coloque la segunda capa de adhesivo, se me hizo más fácil, tuve más control al pegar la cinta adhesiva y fue más fácil hacer que no quedara con burbujas de aire. Luego lo recorte dejando un contorno, para estos stickers también decidí respetar la forma del dibujo.
So what I did was take each drawing separately and place it on a piece of wax paper, then apply the second layer of adhesive. I found this easier; I had more control when applying the tape, and it was easier to avoid air bubbles. Then I cut it out along the outline; for these stickers, I also decided to keep the shape of the drawing.
Luego hice lo mismo con cada dibujo, fue más trabajo y me tarde más, pero hacerlo de esta forma me garantizó que los stickers quedarán mejor y sin burbujas de aire.
Then I did the same thing with each design; it was more work and took me longer, but doing it this way ensured that the stickers would look better and be free of air bubbles.
Cómo es un regalo los metí en una bolsita de plástico de esas que tienen adhesivo y también les hice como una especie de tarjeta donde escribí "Pochaco stickers" la hice con una hoja blanca y la pegué sobre una cartulina escarchada a la cual le hice unos bordes muy lindos con unas tijeras decorativas, también le añadí a modo de decoración unos corazones hechos con bolígrafo gel color neón.
Since they were a gift, I put them in one of those little plastic bags with a seal, and I also made a little card for them where I wrote "Pochaco stickers." I made it out of a white sheet of paper and glued it onto some frosted cardstock, which I trimmed with decorative scissors to create some pretty edges. I also added some hearts drawn with a neon gel pen as decoration.
Y este fue el resultado, ame como quedaron los stickers e incluso el packaging, aunque está sencillo se ve muy tierno, espero que a mí amiga también le guste. 🥰❤️
And this was the result—I loved how the stickers turned out, and even the packaging. Even though it’s simple, it looks really cute. I hope my friend likes it too. 🥰❤️
