Is Web3 Failing? The Hard Truth And What You Should Do Next

Why Do Investors Call This A Sector Full Of Promise?
Initially, there was a lot of hype regarding WEB3 and all the sectors that make up this exciting new niche, and that's what it is, a niche. It hasn't grown as expected. I think one of the most significant failures has been SoFi. It's a classic case of overpromising and underdelivering. The only SoFi platform that remains relevant is Hive.
Platforms like Bulb might be operational for creating and publishing content. However, the financial aspect is completely dead. The irony is that this is exactly why SoFi was created. Essentially, these platforms have failed to deliver on their initial promises. The bear market argument doesn't even factor into the equation. The earnings are that bad.
I purchased almost half a million BULB tokens the other day for Energy purposes, paying less than a dollar. The token is beyond dead. I don't see how there can be a comeback from these levels. Essentially, the weekly reward pool is approximately $0.50! For those who might not realize how bad it is, I am providing context.
DePIN Might Be Stronger Than SoFi
DePIN has been a much stronger alternative, but even DePIN has its challenges regarding payments. Users often have to wait months and even years for airdrops to be released. Today, I published an article addressing a solution for those still waiting for DePIN payouts in 2026. Adaptation is often key to longevity and survival. Silencio remains one of the best DePIN projects in terms of immediate profitability.
I still view DePIN in a positive light. However, I am also looking at ways to gain immediate passive income. Earning free Crypto is not like earning dollars, provided you allocate your capital to projects that offer significant upside. Remember, multiple altcoin picks I suggested in 2020 went on to provide 300X and 400X returns. Even in the previous bull market, I called BONK before it rallied 50x. The same is true of Taraxa and a few others.
Final Thoughts
WEB3 is battling to find a relevant footing in the market. Essentially, the idea is still likely premature. Innovation and development are required to push it into a stronger and more valid space. It's still very experimental. It is advisable to support WEB3 ideas with working WEB2 systems, at least until the sector comes into its own. All the best! See you next time!
