To plan is to gain
Greetings!

Ever since I was growing up have I got to know that planning is essential to whatever we want to embark on. Without planning, the outcome of one's activities may not yield the needed or necessary result.
No wonder there's a saying in my area which says, “if you fail to plan, then you are planning to fail.” This simple saying is not an empty saying, but the truth of the matter.
Having talked so much on this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which says, “planning or impulsive.”
Before now, I didn't use to plan my ways or any of my activities, all I used to do back then was to do things as it comes, which in most cases would not give me the needed or expected result.
Although there were times this approach had really worked out well for me, but out of 10, maybe 2 would work out fine for me, while the remaining seven would just not work but fail.
I could remember myself venturing into a particular business without planning on the logistics and the needed resources that would be required to do the business.
However, the painful thing was that the business eventually failed and I knew it would fail right from the start. This is because I didn't plan very well before embarking on the business.
So, ever since then, I have always made sure I planned my life and activities well so as to make sure I didn't fail like I did in my first outing.
Furthermore, ever since I have been planning my things, I have been seen changes all through.
The recent business I embarked on was a piggery business and it's been a success story all through.
However, it wouldn't have been a success story if not that I planned everything before starting the business. The first thing I did was to look for a farm which was rented out to me.
When I was looking for a place to be used as pen, I was given two options and out of the two options, one was costly and the other was cheap, but one thing I realized was that, the cheaper one would not be suitable for me as my pigs would not be that comfortable, so I opted for the expansive one abd also got good breed of pigs without thinking of the cost and everything later worked out for me.
So, I was able to make good profit from the business and I'm happy. Had it been I didn't plan it the way I had planned it, things would have gone worse, but because I did my due diligence before starting the business, I am a testimony of adequate planning.
In conclusion, I have both planning and impulsive activities before, but planning pays more than impulsive activities.
