There is honestly nothing quite like walking into your own little garden and seeing all the fresh produce growing right in front of your eyes. It feels so rewarding like all the effort you put in was totally worth it.

Looking at these plants i can just imagine how proud the gardener must be look at those big plump bitter gourds hanging down.

They are such a unique shape long and bumpy with that pretty pale green color. They grow on vines that climb up trellises so they hang freely and grow nice and straight.

When they are this fresh they look so crisp and full of life. Even if they taste a little bitter they are packed with goodness and cooking them fresh makes such a difference compared to buying them from the store.

Then there are the cherry tomato plants these are such happy plants! You can see clusters of little tomatoes in all different colors.

Some are still bright green some are turning yellow and others are that deep bright red or orange showing they are perfectly ripe. They grow in long strands hanging from the stems making the whole plant look so colorful and lively.

Picking them straight off the vine and popping them into your mouth is the best snack ever. They are sweet juicy and taste like sunshine.

The cucumbers. Look at how shiny and dark green they are! Some are big and thick while others are smaller and still growing.

They sit amongst big green leaves and bright yellow flowers which look so pretty. Fresh cucumbers are super crunchy and cool perfect for salads or just eating raw. They grow so fast too you check them one day and the next they grown twice as big.

And then there are those long, slender yardlong beans. They hang down in long smooth green pods looking so neat and healthy. They’re great for stir fries or soups and they taste so much better when they are just picked.
