Hello chicos! ¿Qué tal todo? Por aquí hicimos una pausa de la pintada, ya que terminamos con los muebles principales del cuarto de Miranda, porque el resto que viene siendo el closet y unas repisas que forman parte del closet es trabajo de mi esposo, así que para relajarme un poco después de tantos días de pintar y pintar (estaba desde el sábado en eso) decidí sentarme un ratito a trabajar en un nuevo accesorio super sencillo, pero muy bonito.
Hello everyone! How’s everyone doing? We’ve taken a break from the painting here, as we’ve finished the main furniture in Miranda’s room. The rest – the wardrobe and some shelves that are part of it – is my husband’s job, so to relax a bit after so many days of painting and painting (I’d been at it since Saturday), I decided to sit down for a little while to work on a new accessory that’s super simple but really lovely.
Se trata de un brazalete formado únicamente de perlas con un dije de corazón en el centro que además de muy lindo lo podemos usar para el día a día gracias a su diseño sencillo y discreto, y como de costumbre, es muy fácil de hacer, ya que solo debemos armar piezas de perlas y conectarlas entre sí, y ya sin más vamos con el paso a paso.

Paso a paso/Step by step
Como les comenté arriba para la elaboración de este brazalete solo vamos a necesitar perlas y el dije central, y les adelanto que no nos tomará ni mucho tiempo ni mucho trabajo realizarlo, ya que estamos usando piezas de tamaño mediano, lo que no solo nos permite trabajar con mayor facilidad, sino que debido a su tamaño necesitamos menos piezas, y para comenzar con nuestro trabajo vamos a crear las piezas con las perlas y para ello vamos a necesitar un alfiler de ojo y una perla.
Lo que haremos entonces es pasar una perla por el alfiler de ojo, cortamos el excedente y cerramos con ayuda de la pinza redonda que debemos posicionar en la punta del alfiler y girar sobre sí misma hacia dentro? para crear de esta forma nuestro aro, lo que nos permitirá conectar todas las piezas entre sí.
As I mentioned earlier, to make this bracelet we’ll only need beads and the central charm, and I can tell you now that it won’t take us very long or require much effort to make, as we’re using medium-sized pieces, which not only makes the work easier but also means we need fewer pieces because of their size, To begin our work, we’re going to create the pieces using the beads, and for this we’ll need an eye pin and a bead.
What we’ll do then is thread a bead onto the eye pin, cut off the excess, and close it using the round-nose pliers, which we must position at the tip of the pin and twist inwards to create our ring, which will allow us to connect all the pieces together.
El siguiente paso es armar nuestra pieza central que, al igual que las perlas, solamente va a ser el corazón, ya que no vamos a utilizar balines ni ningún otro elemento, simplemente, el corazón, de por sí, ya es sumamente lindo, y lo que haremos es pasar un alfiler de ojo a través de el corazón, cortar el excedente del alfiler y cerrar de la misma manera en que lo hicimos con las piezas de las perlas, y de esta forma ya tendríamos listas tanto las perlas como nuestro dije central para comenzar con el armado.
The next step is to assemble our centrepiece, which, like the beads, will simply be the heart, as we won’t be using any beads or other elements; simply, the heart, in itself, is already extremely pretty, and what we will do is thread an eye pin through the heart, cut off the excess pin and close it in the same way as we did with the bead pieces, and in this way we will have both the beads and our central pendant ready to begin the assembly.
Con todas las piezas listas vamos a comenzar a conectarlas entre sí, y en mi caso yo elaboré 10 piezas de perlas y voy a utilizar 6 para cada extremo del brazalete, y lo que haremos es abrir con la pinza redonda uno de los extremos de las piezas de perla y hacer pasar por ella el ojito de otra y cerramos con la pinza plana.
Repetimos el proceso para tener los dos lados del brazalete.
Now that all the pieces are ready, we’re going to start connecting them together. In my case, I’ve made 10 beaded pieces and I’m going to use 6 for each end of the bracelet. What we’ll do is use the round-nose pliers to open one end of a beaded piece, thread the eye of another piece through it, and then close it with the flat-nose pliers.
We repeat the process to create both sides of the bracelet.
El siguiente paso es incorporar la pieza central, y para esto solo debemos conectar el dije de corazón a las dos piezas de perlas que ya tenemos listas, y lo que haremos es repetir los mismos paso de arriba, es decir, abrimos uno de los extremos de la pieza de perlas, conectamos el corazón y repetimos del otro lado.
The next step is to add the centrepiece. To do this, simply attach the heart charm to the two strands of beads you’ve already prepared, and then repeat the steps described above: open one end of the strand of beads, attach the heart, and repeat on the other side.
En este puntos solo nos queda conectar a nuestro brazalete las piezas que nos van a servir para cerrarlo y para ello en uno de los extremos vamos a colocar una argolla pequeña y en el otro extremo vamos a colocar nuestro cerrador, y lo haremos de la misma manera en que hemos estado conectando las piezas anteriores, y de esta forma ya tenemos listo nuestro brazalete.
Recuerden que la cantidad de piezas va a depender del largo en que lo deseen, en mi caso no me gustan los brazaletes que cuelgan demasiado o que quedan muy sueltos, por lo que siempre trato de hacerlos un poco ajustados a la muñeca, pero eso depende del gusto de cada quien.
At this stage, all that remains is to attach the fastening components to our bracelet. To do this, we’ll attach a small ring to one end and our clasp to the other, using the same method we’ve been using to connect the previous pieces. And with that, our bracelet is ready.
Remember that the number of pieces will depend on how long you want it to be. Personally, I don’t like bracelets that dangle too much or are too loose, so I always try to make them fit snugly around the wrist, but that’s down to personal preference.
