When I registered an account here on Hive, I probably didn't know what I was going to be doing with the account. My friend who introduced me wanted me to join him in singing, but I would always tell him I didn't know how to sing. I will only disgrace myself online. What he always replied to me was that people on Hive are kind people and will encourage you to get better without any negative criticism. It was fun when I started singing. I will always get positive criticism. I did that for a while, and I noticed I got better each time I posted my next rendition.

This was when I decided that if I could get better at singing, maybe I should start writing, since I thought writing would be easier for me. It was difficult for me at first, but as time passes, I find that I will sometimes write on topics easily without much stress.

Hive has been a medium for growth for me as well as a place where I spend many hours of my days. I will come to communities to read other people's post and watch talents sing and find it to be a good use of my time. Hive has given me a sense of belonging to various communities, I found and made good friends and annoying friendships as well.

I won't say I'm still on Hive because of my earnings, because my earnings are usually not enough to inspire me to keep posting. But I'm certain to say for sure that one of the reasons I haven't left posting on Hive is that it helps me self-develop, and I also feel that Hive has a strong prospect for the future. If I had a lot of money today, I would invest a huge amount of it in Hive because I believe in the vision of Hive.

Looking back to when i joined the Hive blockchain I can see how much I have evolved transitioning from lacking in confidence to share my voice to being able to write on different topics every week on the hive blockchain, it is truly a good height of self development i have achieved, the hive blockchain provided me with coaches rather than people who will laugh and judge my performance it has always felt more like a home rather than just a platform to me.

I have found value in the social and intellectual capital Hive offers, as well as the financial side. I am well invested in the vision of Hive whether with my time and my resources. Hive is what I do not only a hobby, but it is a true part of me.
