Cyberlete is the first to lead with a Reality App And their doing things that are impossible on any other blockchain
How they got here :thread:
Cheating is rampant in esports. It’s estimated 30% of gamers are using bots. Tourneys are played for real money. Players with integrity were fed up. Two of them did something about it.
The cofounders are pro gamers, traveling the world to compete, and Cyberlete is their answer.
The other anti-cheats on the market are either owned by centralized companies, or only protect few games. Companies go out of business. Players want their own tech, run and managed by themselves.
When they saw Bitcoin and Ethereum, a light went off in their minds, what if they could bring that level of decentralized trust to software? Where an anti-cheat would be the network, maintained by its users?
Players owned and operated.
Their ideas were ahead of their time.
They dabbled with Ethereum, but saw its limits in latency and smart contracts. They couldn’t build real software on a glorified spreadsheet. Not to mention the unpredictable cost of gas fees make their economic model DOA.
Here we are years later, and players using their tech, enjoy knowing they are playing against humans and not bots.
Reality takes the core innovation of Bitcoin, and extends it software. Consensus is applied to real-time behavioral inputs.
Every other chain you’ve ever heard is simply a ledger of the past.
Welcome to Reality
The first rApp of many to come. We are proud of them, and witnessing their journey over the years. They showcase the power of our network beautifully.
Ultimately, what we offer the world is a primitive for participant owned networks that can compete with FAANG.
Nothing of this scale exists in crypto.
What is real will prosper
