In Ajebamidele Town, Adenike often stared at stars. Whenever she glimpses a star, she used to feel at home and believe that whatever she wishes is going to come to pass. People of this Ajebamidele town used to look at her as an insane person. Meanwhile, things were working for her.
One day, there was hardship in town. The King of Ajebamidele town was in a dilemma stage of life. All efforts to make things work proved abortive.
The people of Ajibamidele believe that the King's tenure is not favorable for the people of the town. They have started blaming themselves for putting him on the throne.
However, the youth converged to rally against the bad situation. The King and his council should do something about it or else the King should vacate the throne.
Soliloquy. Hmm, it is not the fourth of these youths. They are fighting for their future. Is it true that I am the cause of this calamity? I have called the council of elders because of this matter, but things have not changed. What should I do next? Oh! Alright, maybe I should invite Adifala to consult Oracle. God can show us the direction of what to do.
The following day, in the morning. The King sent for Adifala who was living in another town. When the priest Adifala got to the palace, he paid homage to the chief and King of Ajibamidele town.
Later, they told him what they were facing in the town, and they wanted God's direction on what to do with the permanent solution.
“Priest Adifala consults the Oracle and he said that it is our stars that we should direct our wishes to every day. “The stars are not just there, they are for a purpose.” He faced the King and said, since you are on this throne, have you ever grabbed your head and said your wishes? Individuals have his/her own star. “The King, you shall live long. You have an important role to play in this matter. Every day, you must grab your head and direct your wish to your star. Things will change positively for the people of this town and you as a King will be relieved. Your time as a King in this town is remembered forever.”
“No wonder, Adenike frequently stared at the stars whenever he spotted them. She used to express her desires. As others were complaining. Things are working for her. Ah! So this is her secret.” The King lamented.
Immediately, Priest Adifala delivered the message and returned to his town. After some time, things started to change for the people of Ajibamidele town. The market women also gathered at the market square to give kudos to the king for his unwavering effort to put things in order.
