๐ฆ The Siberian stonechat or Asian stonechat (Saxicola maurus)
- Saxicola (lat ): saxum rock, stone, -cola inhabitant
- maurus (lat.): Moorish, black

By midsummer, the young of these birds are already growing up and can be seen in clearings and meadows. They, like the adults, love to climb to the very top of thickets and grass and observe.

Although the birds themselves are cautious, they are not particularly afraid of people; you can approach them at a reasonable distance.
