Hello friends, I hope everyone is well. Today I want to share with you an anime movie with a different feeling, artistic and deep meaning called Tekkonkinkreet. It is a story of experience where the innocence of childhood is a story about the lives of two children amidst the chaos of the city, human greed and crime. At first glance, it may seem a little strange, but gradually its depth is understood that will make you think.

Story Summary The story takes place in a fictional city called Treasure Town. This city is full of crime, poverty and unrest. Two orphan boys live here, Kuro and Shiro. Kuro is very realistic, tough and aggressive. He understands the harsh reality of the city and is ready to do anything to survive. On the other hand, Shiro is completely different, he is innocent, childish and lives in a world of fantasy.

Although these two are complete opposites of each other, their relationship is very deep. Kuro protects Shiro, and Shiro keeps Kuro's inner humanity alive. They survive in this city by relying on each other. But one day, a new force comes to the city, a group of organized criminals who want to modernize the city and take control of it. With their arrival, the old atmosphere of the city slowly begins to collapse.

As a result of this change, a big storm comes to Kuro and Shiro's lives. Kuro starts to go on a darker path and his inner anger and fear start to consume him. On the other hand, Shiro gradually faces the difficult side of reality that shakes his simple world. Towards the end of the story, Kuro slowly starts to sink into his inner darkness. The changes, violence and pressure of the city break him mentally. He starts to lose control of himself and turns into a kind of dark form. On the other hand, Shiro becomes isolated and has to endure a lot of mental suffering. Without Kuro, Shiro becomes completely helpless because he cannot handle the difficult aspects of the real world alone.

At the last moment, Kuro realizes that he has lost Shiro, and that emptiness makes him face the darkness within himself. His love and sense of responsibility for Shiro bring him back to reality. The ending of the story is neither completely happy nor sad, it is a very realistic ending. The story basically shows how these two brothers try to survive between external dangers and their own internal struggles.
My Review This is an anime that is not for everyone, but for those who are looking for something different and deep, it is an extraordinary experience. The biggest strength of this anime is its visual style. The colorful but chaotic environment of the city, the strange designs of the characters, everything gives a kind of artistic feeling. Every scene is like a painting.

Kuro and Shiro's relationship is the heart of the whole story. Kuro symbolizes the struggle for survival and darkness in reality. On the other hand, Shiro symbolizes innocence, hope and imagination. The balance of these two aspects makes the story so deep. The story sometimes becomes emotionally heavy, especially when showing Kuro's inner changes. However, this aspect is what makes it different. Personally, I found this anime interesting. It is not easy to understand but makes you think a lot after watching. It's not just an anime, it's a feeling that stays in the mind even after it's over.
Thanks you so much for reading. See you next :)
