War, Starvation, and Suffering - What Can Be Done Biblically?//The Old Path.
War, starvation, and suffering are painful challenges that many people pass through on earth, especially Christians. Sometimes, these situations test our faith in ways we never expect. They can make humanity feel lost, discouraged, and forgotten by our maker.
In this teaching, Bro Eli Soriano made us to understand that these things are not new. They are part of what happens when humanity turn away from God’s will. Many of the struggles we see today come from human actions; greed, sin, hatred, injustice etc. Most times we bring these problems upon ourselves by not obeying God’s will and commandments.

He also reminds us that suffering is not always a sign of abandonment by God. But a way for God to call our attention and a chance for us to reflect, repent, and return to him. It can be a warning and a call to repent and return to our maker. As christians, we are encouraged to draw closer to God through prayer, love, and caring for those around us. Deuteronomy 28:2 says
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shall hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
The above bible verse teaches us that there are blessings in obeying God's will and commandments. Bro Eli encourages Christians to practice God’s teachings by showing mercy, living in peace, and caring for those in need. These simple but great actions can help bring light into a life filled with pain. In as much as these struggles are difficult to face, God’s word gives us hope. With faith, obedience, and hope, we can be able to overcome those struggles and receive God's blessings.
