Why I Stayed
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Hive is one platform I doubted until I joined and I saw for myself that it was real and did all and even more than they said that it did. When I first heard of Hive, I did not believe there was a platform you could join for free where you would be able to earn, learn, grow, and express yourself freely. When I first heard, I doubted there was any platform like that; even if there was one, it was supposed to pay heavily to be part of such a platform, but reluctantly and with so much doubt, I joined the Hive platform, and to date, I am yet to find a reason to regret ever joining Hive.

There are many people who I started Hive with, but today they have left Hive and are no longer here. The truth is that staying on Hive can be really difficult; the fact that you need to be creative to come up with content at least twice or thrice a week to stay on Hive has caused a lot of people to leave, and also many left because the rewards they expected were not forthcoming. Sometimes I just remember users I used to vibe with and engage their posts while they engage mine too, and I wonder why they left or maybe throughout their stay they could not find something to hold onto, something to serve as a motivation to keep them going. Staying active on Hive can be super stressful, but if you find one thing that helps
If you find your way back, it will always be less stressful, and you won't see it as much work to always come back to Hive.
Hive is a blessing to me; it brought out a part of me that I never knew existed, and I think if I leave Hive, that part of me it brought out might go numb again because I might not be able to find another way to use it. I almost did not join Hive because I heard one has to write content to stay active and be able to be part of the platform, as at that time putting together 100 words in the form of a story or a blog was a very big challenge for me, but I managed to join Hive anyways and was managing, with so much struggle, to put together at least 200-300 words; back then it could take me about 2 days to finish a single post because of how difficult writing was for me.

I have been consistent with Hive, and today I can comfortably come up with a blog or a post of 500 words or more in hours and even in minutes without any distractions; it is all thanks to Hive. I never knew I could do it, but staying consistent on Hive made it possible. That is one of the many reasons why I cannot leave Hive even when many of the people I started with have left; I stayed and will be here because I don't see myself ever leaving Hive.
