OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2202nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its @ocdb/ocd-communities-incubation-program-update-154" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

I’ve noticed this with exercise, or a routine for a treatment—daily, consistent practice is what makes the difference. In my case, for a while I loved dancing, and I wanted to learn a certain style of choreography that had several somewhat complex steps, but that didn’t stop me until I mastered it. Another example I can mention is comboxing, a discipline that caught my attention the day I attended an open class. The experience was incredible, and from then on I practiced at home until I felt confident performing the movements. There was undoubtedly a change from the first day of class to the last one I remember attending.

These photos are from an event that took place a month ago, but I still have many more to share. For this occasion, I'm focusing on black and white, and I'm titling it that way because it was a Beatles tribute band. They sounded musically identical; it was like being in the Liverpool room. Even the instruments were the same models that the Beatles used. Well, that's part of the performance for this kind of tribute.

Camila is one of those bands that represents a big part of my pre-teen and teenage years, thanks to several of their famous singles that—I don’t know how—found their way into my ears and never left my subconscious. Their romantic lyrics and soft yet heartfelt melodies are some of the best I’ve heard from that era. This Mexican band, which, by the way, blends rock with pop, is still one of my favorites today. Especially during my so-called “depressive rocker” phase, Camila’s songs were always on my Playlist.

For several months now, I have been studying music at a centre within the orchestra system, where I regularly attend the activities they organise. This week and part of next week, recitals will be held by department to assess each musician’s progress on their instrument in the first term of the year; yesterday was the first maracas and harp recital.

YouTube has become one of my most-used platforms, and I’m constantly surprised by the sheer number of channels out there—especially food channels—since they keep popping up as suggestions. Some feature quick recipes, others aim to impress with complicated ones, and some just repeat the same thing, since cooking can often feel repetitive. However, when you’re looking for something special that feels different—more authentic, closer to the true essence of cooking—there’s the Chef Roberta - Aroma Roma channel.

This applies not only to music but to all artistic disciplines—painting, poetry, goldsmithing, architecture... All artistic expressions are demonstrations of the creative power within us all; we all possess this divine essence that God gifted us.

There are places we must revisit again and again. Places that bring back childhood memories; places that touch the deepest part of our being. Our trip began early; we boarded the bus that would take us to a very special beach. Its beautiful atmosphere made us feel like we were in another country, but I was truly proud to be in Venezuela.
