I remember back then, let's just say a few years back, we had this elder who taught the youth of my church's Bible study/Sunday school and on one occasion the topic was "Love" and he said
"Back then in our days, people had love for each other, and we could genuinely feel it radiate within each other but these days, there is no love" the context was based on our church so he was referring to our church and one of the youth asked him "Sir, why is there no love now in our church" and his answer was "The people who had this genuine love for each other are all dead" but if he remembers how it used to be back then, that means, he was a part of these people, it equally means he was a partaker of what "genuine love" means and if he is still alive other like himself are still alive.
So, what then is the real cause of why we do not have "genuine love" now as much as we had back then?
Now, this was my reply to the man, those people died with their love and didn't instill the love they had into their next generation, they didn't teach what love was to their children, they didn't practice what love was to their children. So we come out, accept whatever society and social media throw at us, and go with the flow.
I am bringing these scenarios, so I will be able to explain what I want to say. As much as I know that a parent can not do everything, I also know that the first and most important teacher in a child's ,life is his or her parents and when the parents fail, it is hard for the child to find their bearings because society starts to teach them what their parents failed to teach them and show them.
There are things I can not do, in fact if I am to do them, I will do them so secretly and make sure my mum even when she was alive was not going to be aware of it, many children are not doing certain things not because they can not do them but because they know that if their parents gets a hold of it, they won't be alive to tell the remaining of their story.

While I also blame society, and social media for the immorality that has taken over and is accepted as a normal thing, I blame the parents who didn't do well to be the first and best teachers for their children. If the parents don't do what society requires of them, society, social media, and peer pressure will help them do the needful.
I am blaming everyone because even as a child we have the opportunity and privileges to choose what kind of life we intend to live for ourselves, what kind of legacy we intend to build or carry on, so the perpetrators of this immorality are not left out.
Even as an orphan, I would still not do in things because I have made a choice not just because I have parents or uncles who would correct me but because I have made a decision to stay away from certain things that would bring shame or embarrassment to myself.
The parents should be held accountable for their children's actions, perhaps a few of them would sit up and take care of their children and the government can put a ban on most things around our society as well as most social media content. Perhaps if they ban or put a few restrictions on most things, it will curb the unnecessary corruption and circulation of most content.
The children who do this should be held accountable for their actions as well, because they made a choice and every action has a consequence.
