Today the weather is nice and I had to run errands in the city, so here I am to show you another part of beautiful Pistoia. Today we're going to Pistoia Sud, an area that was abandoned for years but has now been redeveloped thanks to some of the city's politicians. We start from the Pertini parking lot, which I really like because it's surrounded by small, traditional houses, simple homes that overlook and surround the parking lot; they're very charming and unique. Then from the parking lot I continued toward the main streets of Pistoia Sud, where there are several interesting buildings. One of these is the old municipal baths, a building dating back to the early 20th century and once a public restroom. Unfortunately, it's now abandoned, which is a shame because it's a very beautiful historic building, with fascinating friezes, sculptures, and columns. It would be a lovely building to restore.

Hoy hace buen tiempo y tenía que hacer recados en la ciudad, así que aquí estoy para mostrarles otra parte de la hermosa Pistoia. Continuing our walk, we come across another abandoned building. It was called the Sle Best and was one of the city's main social centers. Today, I believe it is unsafe as it is surrounded by some sort of construction site. Continuing, we come across a still-intact section of Pistoia's old walls. Here, one of the ancient medieval towers has remained almost intact, redeveloped by the fascinating murals that surround it. I found the murals truly beautiful, perhaps because I love street art and I believe that murals enhance a city, especially certain areas that would otherwise be a bit drab and boring. Then I continued my walk along the old walls, which are always beautiful to look at, having stood for centuries! From this side of the city, we can also see the beautiful dome of Pistoia in the distance, a truly beautiful and captivating sight. Continuando nuestro paseo, nos topamos con otro edificio abandonado. Se llamaba Sle Best y era uno de los principales centros sociales de la ciudad. Hoy en día, creo que es inseguro, ya que está rodeado de una obra en construcción. Siguiendo adelante, encontramos un tramo aún intacto de las antiguas murallas de Pistoia. Aquí, una de las antiguas torres medievales se ha conservado casi intacta, realzada por los fascinantes murales que la rodean. Los murales me parecieron realmente hermosos, quizás porque me encanta el arte callejero y creo que los murales embellecen una ciudad, especialmente ciertas zonas que de otro modo serían un poco monótonas y aburridas. Luego continué mi paseo a lo largo de las antiguas murallas, que siempre son un espectáculo para la vista, ¡tras siglos en pie!
