"You sow seeds and expect a harvest." The seeds I sowed under the lime tree are now starting to bear fruit!

Hello everyone! Lately, I've bought a lot of fruits and vegetables from the market and saved the seeds, like bell peppers, pumpkins, and papayas. After I finished cooking and eating the fruit, I didn't save the seeds and thought I'd sow them under my kaffir lime tree; there's a small area there for planting. I wanted to test if I could grow these seeds, haha! That idea just popped into my head for a moment. I kept the seeds for a very long time until one day, I was in a good mood and wanted to test them, so I just scattered them... I watered them, tilled the soil, and just scattered them, not expecting them to sprout. Until today, when I saw them...
This picture shows seedlings from a type of seed. I'm not sure if it's bitter melon or pumpkin seeds... I remember digging a rather deep hole that day, dropping them in, covering them with soil, and watering them every day. Now, they've grown into tender leaves! Haha, it's so exciting! I planted two seeds in holes a little distance apart, and both sprouted – a real success! However, I still have papaya and chili seeds that I thought would grow easier, but they haven't emerged from the soil yet.
The other day, I checked on it and it only had two smooth, round leaves. But today, another leaf has appeared, this time serrated. This leads me to believe it's a pumpkin plant, based on the seeds I planted... I wonder how long it will take to see any fruit. However, when I checked where I planted the papaya seeds, there's still no sign of any papaya sprouts. Then I looked at the area where I sowed the sweet peppers, and similarly, I noticed a lot of snails. I'm not sure what's causing this. In short, I might only get to eat the pumpkin plant. I'll monitor its growth every day and update you all in the coming days. Thank you for reading my article today. I hope you enjoyed it and can watch its growth with me. See you in the next article. Bye for now!
