Visit to the village of Quintandona - Portugal

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well 😚 Today I'm going to tell you a little about my trip to the village of Quintandona, in Penafiel, which I visited over the weekend. When I arrived, it was so peaceful that all you could hear was birdsong. As I love silence, I could have stayed there for a whole week 🤣 But not much longer, because I love where I live, near the sea ☺️ It's one of those places that exudes calm, and makes you want to stop and enjoy the visit for a while ☺️

The village is small, but there are several places to visit nearby, so if you can, go visit ☺️ this church is located right in the center of the village and is very beautiful. I loved the details of the door, I stood there admiring it for a while ☺️ Quintandona is a special place, this is the second time I've been here and I will always want to come back ☺️

I kept walking and further on I found this tank, very well cared for by the people who live there and the tourists who pass by. The hanging planters add a fun touch ☺️ there's such a lovely simplicity here in this little village. People are very happy and still use the tank a lot for washing clothes.

I kept walking. All the streets are so narrow and charming ☺️ It's so beautiful to see the contrast between the schist and this wonderful blue sky ☺️ What I like most are the details, like the plants growing between the stones and the hanging clay pots. It makes you want to take pictures of everything ☺️

And look what they found along the way, a little corner where people can stop for a drink, another example of how people here pay attention to detail. I would have stayed there for a drink if it weren't their day off 😞 I was super sad. It wasn't there the first time I came, but when I come back I'll definitely stop by ☺️

I almost forgot to show you this part of the tank; I can see how clean the water is, you can clearly see the reflection of the houses and trees.

Look at this schist wall with this green at sunrise. Didn't I say I liked the details? ☺️ I think it's so beautiful how nature can emerge even amidst the stones. This photo shows what yours are like in Quintandona. That's what makes Quintandona an incredible place.

I was walking along and stopped at this view, what a beautiful setting! Those little houses in the middle of the countryside convey a tranquility that can't be explained, you just feel it. What a wonderful walk!

There are signs throughout the village, although you'll find everything because the village is quite small, but I loved the signs ☺️ walking around here is truly amazing, even though it's my second time I keep discovering new details in the village.

Finally, I leave you with this photograph; I loved the detail of the red windows contrasting with the stone and the vase in the middle ☺️ It was an incredible day, and I returned home with a full heart.

Olá a todos, espero que estejam bem 😚 Hoje vou contar um pouco sobre a minha viagem à vila de Quintandona, em Penafiel, que visitei no fim de semana. Quando cheguei, estava tão tranquilo que só se ouvia o canto dos pássaros. Como adoro silêncio, poderia ter ficado lá uma semana inteira 🤣 Mas não muito mais, porque adoro onde moro, perto do mar ☺️ É um daqueles lugares que exalam calma e dão vontade de parar e aproveitar a visita por um tempo ☺️

A vila é pequena, mas há vários lugares para visitar por perto, então, se puder, vá visitá-los ☺️ Esta igreja fica bem no centro da vila e é muito bonita. Adorei os detalhes da porta, fiquei lá admirando por um tempo ☺️ Quintandona é um lugar especial, esta é a segunda vez que venho aqui e sempre quero voltar ☺️

Continuei caminhando e mais adiante encontrei este tanque, muito bem cuidado pelos moradores e pelos turistas que passam por ali. Os vasos suspensos dão um toque divertido ☺️ Há uma simplicidade encantadora nesta pequena vila. As pessoas são muito felizes e ainda usam bastante o tanque para lavar roupa.

Continuei caminhando. Todas as ruas são tão estreitas e charmosas ☺️ É tão bonito ver o contraste entre o xisto e este céu azul maravilhoso ☺️ O que eu mais gosto são os detalhes, como as plantas que crescem entre as pedras e os vasos de barro pendurados. Dá vontade de fotografar tudo ☺️

E olha só o que eles encontraram pelo caminho, um cantinho onde as pessoas podem parar para tomar um drinque, mais um exemplo de como as pessoas aqui prestam atenção aos detalhes. Eu teria ficado lá para tomar um drinque se não fosse o dia de folga deles 😞 Fiquei super triste. Não estava lá da primeira vez que vim, mas quando eu voltar com certeza vou dar uma passada ☺️

Quase me esqueci de mostrar esta parte do tanque; dá para ver como a água está limpa, e é possível ver claramente o reflexo das casas e das árvores.

Olha só essa parede de xisto com esse verde ao nascer do sol. Eu não disse que gostava dos detalhes? ☺️ Acho tão bonito como a natureza consegue emergir mesmo em meio às pedras. Esta foto mostra como são as suas em Quintandona. É isso que torna Quintandona um lugar incrível.

Eu estava caminhando e parei para admirar essa vista. Que lugar lindo! Essas casinhas no meio do campo transmitem uma tranquilidade inexplicável, você simplesmente sente. Que caminhada maravilhosa!

Há placas indicativas por toda a vila, embora você encontre de tudo porque a vila é bem pequena, mas eu adorei as placas ☺️ passear por aqui é realmente incrível, mesmo sendo a minha segunda vez, continuo descobrindo novos detalhes na vila.

Por fim, deixo-vos com esta fotografia; adorei o detalhe das janelas vermelhas em contraste com a pedra e o vaso no meio ☺️ Foi um dia incrível e voltei para casa com o coração cheio.
