Monomad: Black and white skate [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy Wednesday to everyone, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography. How are you all doing today? I’m feeling great, and I hope you are too. Today I’m sharing more photos I usually take at the skatepark; I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Feliz miércoles para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro. ¿Cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Yo me siento bien y espero que ustedes también lo estén. Hoy les comparto más fotografías que acostumbro hacer en el skatepark; espero que las disfruten tanto como yo.

When you're trying to photograph a moving subject, it's quite a challenge to wait for the right moment to take the shot. It's an art; it doesn't always work out, but it's a good way to practice patience and try to anticipate the right spot for the photo.

Cuando tienes un objetivo en movimiento al que quieres hacer fotografías, es todo un reto esperar esos momentos adecuados para hacer la captura de la foto. Es un arte; no siempre sale bien, pero es una buena forma de practicar la paciencia e intentar adelantarte al futuro del lugar adecuado para la foto.

Personally, I try to play around a lot with the depth of field; what I mean is, when I see the direction they’re heading in, I move the camera a little further forward, and then, when they’re exactly in line with my lens, that’s when I take the picture. It’s a simple way of anticipating the shot, but it’s worked really well for me.

Personalmente, intento jugar mucho con el espacio adelantado; quiero decir, cuando veo la dirección en la que se dirigen, adelanto un poco más la cámara y así, cuando se cruzan exactamente con la dirección de mi lente, es cuando hago la fotografía. Es un método sencillo de predecir, pero me ha servido bastante.
