Hello #NeedleworkMonday Today I’m sharing a knitting WIP with you. While going through my bags, I found a 20-cm strip and decided to finish this unfinished project. Once I had more than 60 cm, I was torn between making a bag strap or a belt, but this one is over 1.10 m long and it took me a while to finish it. Here are the details on how I made it.

Hola #Needleworkmonday Hoy les comparto un proyecto wip de tejido. Revisando las bolsas conseguí una tira de 20 cm y me dispuse a terminar ese pendiente. Luego de tener mas de 60 cm, estaba con la indecisión de hacer una tira de bolso o una correa, pero esta mide mas de 1,10 y me a costado terminarla. Paso a dar detalles de su elaboración.
- Gold nylon thread.
- Size 2 crochet hook.
- 1 buckle.
- Hilo de nailon dorado.
- Aguja crochet Nº 2.
- 01 hebilla.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s). mp: half point. mpa: half high point. pad: double treble crochet. pat: triple treble crochet. aum: increases. dism: decrease. pa: high point. pr: slipped stitch.
ESPAÑOL
ch: cadena(s). mp: medio punto. mpa: medio punto alto. aum: aumento. dism: disminución. pa: punto alto. pad: punto alto doble. pat: punto alto triple. pr: punto deslizado.
- Magic ring: 5 ch, 2 dc, 1 ch, 2 dc, 5 ch. Join.
- 3 ch, 2 dc, 1 ch, 2 dc, 1 dc, 3 ch. Repeat this pattern on every round.
- Repeat the above until the desired length is reached. The buckle is crocheted entirely in single crochet. Then it is attached to the strap.
- Anillo mágico, 5 chs, 2 pa, 1 ch. 2 pa, 5 chs. Cerrar.
- 3 chs, 2 pa, 1 ch, 2 pa, 1 pa, 3 chs. Repetir por cada vuelta el mismo motivo.
- Se repite lo anterior hasta cubrir la distancia deseada.
La hebilla se teje con mp toda ella. Luego se une a la tira.

Little by little, in my spare time, I’ve been working on each row. I managed to knit 110 cm using a mix of double crochet and chain stitches ⛓. I really liked the result, especially since it’ll be very useful—the strap I had was really worn out.
My daughter liked the design; she wants one in black. We’ll see when I get around to starting it, ha ha ha.
This project is simple, perfect for beginners, but you have to be patient because you have to crochet more than a meter.
The power just went out, so I have a few minutes of backup power. Hopefully it won't last longer than the four hours they've been cutting the power for.

... Y listo la tira de correa tejida a crochet
Poco a poco, en ratos libre me he dedicado a tejer cada vuelta. Logré tejer 110 cm entre puntos altos y cadenas ⛓. Me gustó bastante el resultado y mucho mas porque me será muy util, porque la correa que tenia esta muy usada.
A mi hija le gustó el diseño, ella quiere una en color negro, vamos haber cuando la empiezo ja,ja,ja.
Este tejido es sencillo, ideal para principiante, pero hay que tener paciencia porque hay que tejer mas de 1 metro.
En este momento se acaba de ir la electricidad, por tanto tengo autonomia por unos minutos, ojalá no se pasen de 04 horas que vienen aplicando.
