Another day and another attack on British Jews.

The number of attacks on British Jews and their property is increasing in the UK. In the space of less than one year we’ve had a Jihadi murder Jews in Manchester, an arson attack in North West London on a Jewish run volunteer ambulance service, a crime which several men with Muslim names have been accused of, numerous on street assaults on Jews and now an arson attack on a Reform synagogue in Finchley in North London. It didn’t used to be like this. Yes there’s always been Jew hatred, always will be, but it was not as murderous or as widespread or as vicious as it is today. So what changed? Did we suddenly have an increase in British people becoming enamoured of the ideology of Oswald Mosley? Of course not. No, what happened is that successive governments in Britain allowed the importation hundreds of thousands of people from cultures where Jew hatred is imbibed with their mother’s milk.

The Finchley Reform synagogue attack could have been much worse than it was. It was really only incompetence on the part of the attackers that saved this shul from the fate of the Hatzola Ambulances. There was also, shortly after the synagogue attack in Finchley, reports of a bomb threat with local people being evacuated but this may be unconnected to the synagogue arson attempt.

The Metropolitan Police have arrested a man and a woman aged 46 and 47, respectively and who are allegedly from the Watford area. As per normal British reporting rules they have not been named yet because they haven’t been charged yet. We don’t know the identity because the case is still being investigated and we won’t find out motivations until there is a trial, if that is there is a trial as this pair might turn out to be unconnected to the offence. An Iranian group has claimed responsibility for the attack but that may not be the case and this Iranian group may just be claiming responsibility for something that they’ve not been involved in. Assuming that this Watford couple are charged, then based on the Manchester attack and the attack on the Hatzola ambulances and taking into account the large number of Muslims implicated in acts of Jew hatred, I would be surprised, on a balance of probabilities basis, if those who might be charged with the Finchley attack are called ‘Dave’ or ‘John’ or ‘Fred’.

It’s clear to me that Britain is getting unsafe for Jews and that Jews are the canary in the British coal mine. None of what is being aimed at Jews, often by radical Muslims and their far left allies, will stay aimed at Jews, it’s something that’s going affect everyone in Britain in the end. Remember after Saturday comes Sunday. Today it’s the Jews who are the targets of the enemy but tomorrow it might be you. Today it’s attacking synagogues but tomorrow they could be attacking churches, schools and hospitals.
