Hello, dear friends of the @Wednesdaywalk community! I hope you all had a lovely Wednesday stroll with your loved ones. Welcome to my blog.
Today I stopped by this community, as I do every Wednesday, thanks to the excellent initiative of @tattoodjay, who has encouraged us to tune in every Wednesday to share with the community the various walks and hikes we’ve taken over the course of the week or in previous months.
Today I wanted to share with you a stroll and hike I took a few days ago through the El Hatillo district of Caracas, the capital of my beloved country, Venezuela.
I went to the capital to accept an invitation to my daughter’s fiancé’s graduation ceremony. During this trip, I took advantage of being there for several days to explore places I hadn’t visited on previous occasions when I’d been in Caracas. One of them was the municipality of El Hatillo, which I found very charming and reminiscent of a tourist spot in my own city—specifically in Lara State—called the town of Santa Rosa.

I took the walk in the late afternoon around 6:30: night was already falling. I traveled through several parts of Caracas to reach the El Hatillo neighborhood, since it’s a bit far from the eastern part of the city center where I was staying.
El Hatillo is located above the level of Caracas. For this reason, you have to drive up the road until you reach this town, which has a very pleasant and cool climate. The facades of the houses are very beautiful, especially because of their striking colors. Some of the streets are cobblestone, which gives the town a colonial feel.

I explored the boulevard; I thought it was very beautiful because it’s full of lights everywhere and has many tables and chairs that the different businesses set out so people can enjoy their food or simply sit down to chat and have a few drinks or cocktails.
On this street, I felt as if I were in the Christmas season, because of the abundance of lights, the bustle of people, and the biting cold you feel there.

Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad de @Wednesdaywalk, espero todos hayan pasando un lindo miércoles de caminata, junto a sus seres queridos. Sean todos bienvenidos a mi blog.
Hoy pasó por esta comunidad, como todo los miércoles, gracias a la excelente iniciativa del hiver @tattoodjay, quien nos ha animado a estar atentos cada miércoles de la semana, para traer a la comunidad los diferentes paseos y caminatas que hemos realizado en el transcurso de la semana o en meses anteriores.
Hoy quise compartirles un paseo y a la vez una caminata que hice hace unos días a tras por el municipio el Hatillo de la ciudad de caracas capital de mi querido pais Venezuela.
Fui a la capital con el fin de cumplir con una invitación a al acto de grado del novio de mi hija. En este viaje aproveche de estar varios días allí y de conocer sitios que no había visitado en otras oportunidades en las que he estado en caracas. Uno de ellos fue el Municipio el Hatillo, el cual me pareció muy lindo y semejante a un sitio turístico de mi ciudad, específicamente del Estado Lara que se llama el pueblo de Santa Rosa.

El paseo lo realice al final de la tarde a eso de las 6:30: ya estaba cayendo la noche, recorrí varios sitios de caracas para poder llegar a la comunidad el hatillo, ya que esta un poco alejado del centro este de la ciudad por donde estaba alojada.
El Hatillo esta por encima del nivel de caracas. Por tal razón hay que subir por la carretera hasta llegar a este poblado que tiene un clima muy agradable y fresco. Las fachadas de las casas son muy bonitas, especialmente por el colorido tan llamativo que tienen. Algunas de las calles son empedradas, lo que le da un aspecto colonial.

Conocí el boulevar, me pareció muy hermoso porque esta lleno de luces por todo lados y con muchas mesas y sillas que los diferentes negocios colocan para que la gente disfruten su comida o simplemente se sienten a conversar y a tomarse algunos tragos o coteles.
En esta calle me sentí como si estuviese en época de navidad, por la cantidad de luces, el bullicio de la gente y el frio penetrante que se siente en ese lugar.
