Hello Hive

A very pleasant and happy Sunday to us, I hope that we are having a pleasant weekend so far. I was so tired after yesterday Activities and didn't even make it online to write my regular daily blog. This is the work that got us so busy as we advanced our weeding exercise into the okro farm.

The poor state of the okro is so discouraging at the moment as all the leaves have turned yellow and some burnt.
From here I know for sure that it isn't a poor state of the soil that made the okro like this. We have decided that we would be adding a little inorganic manure to this right after weeding it.
It is currently highly discouraging to work on the farm as the okro aren't looking good but since much labour had been expended here to start this work, we do not want to abandon it completely, maybe it can be reviewed to produce some food after the weeding and a little of the fertilizer added to it.

The okro didn't experience a stunted growth in anyway as these are barely a month old, the only concern is the yellowing of the leaves where some parts of the farm are getting burnt already. We are get to know the cause of this, wether they are some poor seeds or if there is a specie of okro that does this.

Okro can be planted in different seasons just like any other vegetables, we have both planted the raining seasons and the dry season okro in the past which have done so well, this is our first time of experiencing this and since the crop has already been planted, we won't be abandoning it half way, hopefully there will be some changes, now that the rains have come and the ground will feel better than it used to be if it were some water from the irrigation.
We were on the farm working on this yesterday and had the most hectic day. I felt so tired and didn't make it online till this morning. Thank God it's Sunday and I can get some quality rest today.
