Hello Hive

A pleasant new day to us all. I hope that I hope that Wednesday was nice to us and that we are putting in our best to work and the pursuit of our careers. May lines fall in pleasant places for us and the lord ease our burdens. I had one of the most restful Tuesday and I am up early today feeling better and strong.

Today I want to share with us a simple trick we can employ to raise birds successfully and profitable. Regardless of how small your poultry pen is you can turn it into an avenue that can fetch you some little source of income.
Like I said earlier that as meat and dairy products began to become very expensive everyone in my neighborhood here has a small cage, pen or poultry house to raise their own birds for meat. In this vain they can raise healthy birds for meat and for their family consumption.
This way one can monitor the kind of foods we feed the birds, avoid the use of growth enhancer and be able to raise birds healthy enough as meats

For a start I wouldn't advice that we raise the local specie of birds wether chicken or turkey. Those specie are often slow growing birds and not highly productive.
The mother turkey of the local bird specie we have raises since last year has produced only 2 additional birds while raising an agric engineered bird within thesame range of period will have produce at least 6-10 of it's kind.
The first and important step is to purchase some some quality, Agric-engineered specie of birds

The local birds may lay just about 2-6eggs in a year and hatch only one or two of the eggs but the Agric ones can lay up to 10 eggs and hatch everything. An example is this cage here where the mother had laid 10eggs and hatched 8babies out of it

Another important criteria is their feeds. There are different types of bird feeds here. For a start and if you desire fast growth, one can feed them with the feeds produced in Agric stored. These stored are agricultural firms that have learnt to mix different essential ingredients into the preparation of bird feeds. Those feeds contain the essential ingredients needed for the birds growth..
But after they have grown to about 4-6months and in order to maximize capital, you can stop the feed by then and feed them too normal grains. The turkey here eats almost all the foods human eat. As time progresses and they come close to the periods where they begin to lay eggs, it is important to feed them with quality foods so that they can bear and hatch quality eggs. Calcium is a major requirements in their feeds. At such times one can feed them to both the Agric foods and the local food interchangeably. The Agric feeds are often expensive. Another way to cut cost is to learn about the ingredients in these feeds and try to prepare them ourselves. Pountry feeds shouldn't be something too hard for one to produce via diy mixing the necessary ingredients and grains , this will probably be a most cheaper methods as well.
