Hello Hive

Happy new day to us all, I hope that the new week is treating us all. I woke up really late today and this is attributed to the work that we did yesterday in the farm. It was a little tiring and my body is refusing to cooperate. I'm not too sure of joining them to work in the farm today as I may just take some time to rest at home
This is the last portion of our pepper farm that is yet to be weeded of grasses but the pepper here aren't bothered about that they have gotten ripe and ready for harvest calling out attention already

Whenever pepper harvest begins it often begins gradually. From seeing just a few strand get ripe all through the week to having as many of the pepper getting ripe at once within a week

This was when It began fruiting about a month ago
When harvest commences fully, pepper harvest is often done weekly to avoid any damage to the ripe grains.
Pepper could get overiped in the farm and fall off their plants, they could get pecked by birds which is the parts that baffles me the most. Regardless of how hot peppers could be, these birds peck and eat these pepper, while doing so they break off the branches of the plant causing more damage.
Flowering, fruiting and harvest is a continuous process in pepper plants once this begins . It continues for as long as the pepper tree is alive 🌶️ and for some we continue to harvest for at least 3months then the tree dies in the dry season.

When the raining seasons comes again the pepper gets revived and continue to produce fruits, this is for the biannual types of peppers we plant. Then after this two years of production they eventually die and we plant new seeds
This particular pepper are already ripped as at when meet them yesterday and some people will be going to harvest them today.
