Hello Hive
Happy Sunday to my creative friends here. I hope that we are having a good time resting.

I had earlier attended the morning service so that I can be back on time to get some rest as well. The weeks ahead will be a very busy one as we are all preparing to start this year's farming session. For now farming is the major occupation that puts food on my family's table and although this hasn't been an easy task over the years, we are grateful that we haven't gone hungry. We are hoping that in the coming years we would get more resources to mechanize our farming work to ease our stress

I finally made a second dress for my friend who came visiting me this weekend. She came along with some fabrics for me to help her to sew knowing that I'm a seamstress.
Instead of patronizing some other seamstress who would charge her some exubitent amount of money she decided to use the privilege of this visit to get her outfit sewn.

Here is the first outfit I made for her with some English fabric. And now I just completed the second outfit so that she can travel along with her clothes this evening

While she had asked me to sew a certain trending design for her but looking at the style it looked a bit complicated and confusing to me.
Sincerely it is sometimes very difficult to recreate certain style of outfit made by other designers. Following every detail to reproduce such design is quite a hassle. When I stated making this outfit, I stated with the front block using a pattern pattern to draft her bodice

But while transferring it to the fabric I made some little mistake here and there. In order not to complicate the whole work, I had another of my friend assist me to manage the fabric and cut the upper part.
Then I continued with the sewing of the dress and any part I find a little challenging she helped me out with it
Adding an inner lining and then gathering the shoulder of the dress.

This was done and here is the outcome of the outfit. The Africant print fabric gave us this gorgeous design. I love the finished produce and desire to sew something like this for myself as well.

I was so happy to find a fellow seamstress around that I could rob mind with. Actually with fashion we have to keep learning and upgrading to meet up with the current trend of fashion in order not to get outdated. This is exactly what's happening to me that the most recent design seem vague for me to recreate.

Here is the final outcome of the outfit and my working space

I hope that we all enjoy a calm and peaceful Sunday
