My First Step Into the Real World

Not because I am lazy, but I never imagined myself waking up early in the morning every day and setting out for work, where I will be counting hours and following rules and regulations set by the authorities. Still, time had placed me in such a situation that I was willing to do any odd jobs as well, but my willpower wasn't high enough to get into one, so I stepped back. By the blessing of almighty Allah, out of nowhere, I was referred for a job interview, which was no way for me based on my formal qualifications, still I went through the process and got the chance to be on the journey.
My formal education has no trace of technology, yet I got into engineering stuff, hands-on work. But how? Even though my educational background is different, my sole interest and everything was related to tech and related stuff. Top to bottom, I was a tech enthusiast, to be more specific, an independent security researcher. They saw my willingness and thirst for new stuff and gave me the chance to get started.

As I pressed the bell, with each passing second, my heartbeat was getting faster and faster. An unknown boy received me, then my supervisor came, a meeting was being held, and there was the full team, and he took me straight to that room to introduce with everyone. Hell no, everyone was looking at me, I gave a formal intro about me, they could see me shaking in nervousness, and spared me (yeah, each second felt like an eternity there). Finally, I was alone in a room, at a desk, alone because everyone was in that meeting room.
So it was a cybersecurity company, and I joined there as an intern for five months. Fortunately, I got an amazing supervisor who was pretty awesome and guided me at his best. I was curious and desperate too for growth, and so based on my performance, they made me a permanent employee within three months. That was something I will be ever grateful for. Oh yeah, I'm still at that company, more than happy, and in a better position than I could have expected. To be honest, I’ve reached a level of opportunity and stability that many CSE graduates don’t achieve this early, despite not having a formal background in the field, grateful to the Almighty for that.
So yeah, that is it, the first job that I'm still continuing and want to continue for a long time, as I still haven't faced anything extreme that made me feel like quitting. The first one is always special; whoever gets a good start can have a better journey ahead. I, too, hope for the best for everyone, and please do keep me in your prayers.
